Resident Evil 3 is reportedly developed by former PlatinumGames CEO

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was announced by Capcom a couple of days ago and fans are already excited for its upcoming release. The game is being developed by M-Two in collaboration with Capcom. You can see their logo in the end of the trailer.

The studio is made from veteran developers of Capcom and Platinum Games. The CEO of the studio is none other than Tatsuya Minami, the previous CEO of Platinum Games, who left Platinum Games back in 2016. Minami worked on several titles in the Resident Evil, Mega Man and Devil May Cry series.

According to rumors Minami wanted to share his position with the well known Shinji Mikami, hence the studio name M-Two (Minami/Mikami). Unfortunately that never happened and Mikami is still working at Tango Gameworks owned by Bethesda. Shinji Mikami is the father of the Resident Evil series.
