Remedy has announced that its three-player cooperative first-person shooter, FBC: Firebreak, will be released on June 17th. This FPS is based on the Alan Wake/CONTROL universe, and is set within a mysterious federal agency under assault by otherworldly forces.
Players will dive into the Federal Bureau of Control’s (FBC) unpredictable and extradimensional headquarters during its darkest—and strangest—hours. As one of the FBC’s fearless first responders, you and your team are on call to confront everything from reality-warping anomalies to otherworldly monsters.
Before deploying, players will select their weapon and customize their Firebreaker’s Crisis Kit with specialized tools, grenades, support items, and paranatural augments. Then, they will be able to modify them to suit their strategy and change the way they play.
Players will be able to experiment with different loadouts to perfect their playstyle and synergize with their team, giving them the edge to succeed in every mission, no matter the difficulty.
For what it’s worth, Remedy hasn’t yet shared the game’s PC requirements. Naturally, we’ll be sure to share them as soon as we get our hands on them.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

And will shutdown on Aug 17. Typical Remedy wasting money & resources and saying (while drinking coffee ofc) "making videogames are hard" …Pfft.. bro see wtf you're making.
Alan Wake 2 sales were low and it's a small studio. And based on their track record this game is probably not what the Remedy team wants to do. Most likely the publisher "asked" them to do it. I can't wait for Control 2, I love Remedy games!
Remedy was doing fine till Control. Their previous entries were ok not big not bad just cool 3rd person shooters & I liked it somehow. Control was definitely their best in the last decade along with quantum break. But they dropped the ball by getting involved with the DEI idiocy & race swapping their original cast in Alan Wake 2 : Remedy Race Swap AW2 and promoting propaganda with selfies with one of the worst feminist to infest gaming industry (I forgot her name but she had many pictures with sam lake in twitter in the past year) So I don't have much faith in them and that's sad reality.
They made Epic Games Store deals around that time as well.
That too yeah. No wonder they couldn't recoupe their budget that was well spent on that "very meaningful" cringe dance music video in a videogame you're forced to watch instead of improving animations and gameplay mechanics. The irony, it won awards comparing RE4 can you believe that. Gaming industry is hitting downfall atm same with movies and TV shows.
Good ideas and storytelling are always the most difficult things to achieve in entertainment
Finns are very progressive culturally, and they have been supporting women s emancipation and racial tolerance for much longer before woke ever existed, its normal in their culture it is so much finland and are not employing any liberal agenda in their videogames
This said im not excited about this game as well
West was pretty great back in the days. From home movies for family and kids to full live action cgi movies for children were abundant and they pushed the trend in world for good movies for kids that do well on box office too. Same for action and scifi movies which not only brought innovation with new technology and inventions but fun & entertaining at the same time. I miss that era when you could just turn on TV or buy a new disk and watch a good movie free from any fear. Remember, Baby's day out, Agent Cody banks or Spymate ? You won't get that kind of movies anymore not even in a decade. We had our era & probably the best of everything. Now the epilogue has begun for a world like blade runner.
Cultures live through cycles unfortunately….look at us in italy we had caravaggio and the others now we have a banana stuck to the wall with tape ( which is a different type of art, yet its disappointing )
Its alan wake which is boring as a character…control was a jewel
The first game was pretty good. I think probably a masterpiece of its era & even today. It's not that Alan wake is a boring character its just not portrayed well in the sequel. But if @disqus_gk0cp6psps:disqus likes it, its fine, its a game after all. If we're forcing our likes on to everyone, that makes us no different that those propaganda identifiers. But awarness is necessary.
Can't say yet if I like Alan Wake in the second game. My gpu can't handle the mesh shaders : (
I agree with almost everything you just said. I am against this forced woke brainwash culture that ruins society as well. The one thing where we don't see eye to eye is in regards to the dance music video. I respect your opinion, art is subjective and I get it. But I think that music video is meaningful for the Alan Wake story ( I saw the video) and also shows risk taking and creativity. Something that 80 or 90% of the entertainment industry is unfortunately lacking.
I didnt like quantum break much either, lets hope control 2 is not going to disappoint
Yes it was only my opinion…many users do like alan wake games instead

Instead to a Story DLC to Control about FBC, or a bridge like DLC to Control, they are doing a pointless and soulless online crap.
Itll be on gamepass and I liked most of remedy's games. Ill give it a try at the very least.
