Rebellion’s Strange Brigade will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech, official PC requirements

Rebellion has revealed – via the game’s Steam store page – that its upcoming third-person 1930s adventure game, Strange Brigade, will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Of course this does not surprise us as Rebellion’s previous game, Sniper Elite 4, also used the controversial anti-tamper tech.

In Strange Brigade, players will embark on an exotic safari into danger where few dare go and fewer return. Players will encounter fantastic and forgotten civilizations shrouded in mystery, and will uncover treacherous tombs and unfathomable evil.

The game is currently planned for a August 28th release.

Rebellion has also revealed the game’s official PC system requirements. PC gamers will at least need an Intel CPU Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent with 4GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 7870 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660.

    1. day one buy for me. It looks good. I play all action games no matter what. But i wonder you Putin how do you have times for games when you work almost all day?

        1. No, he is like that, buys everything and likes to always say his specs and how great the game runs for him. even in official support forums. you know, useful comment like: game runs fine for me (Forza support forum).

  1. Instead of spending the money in implementing a DRM, they should’ve just used the money to make a better game. This looks boring AF 0_0

        1. Quality of gameplay? It will be like all shooters just kill evryone! Like most action games are! As for the port ?Sniper eltie 4 played it max settings 1440p 40+ fps so no worry since i have a very good pc(ryzen 1700 16 gb ddr 4 3200mhzcl15 gtx 970 g1 gaming 4gb and 24” 2560×1440 60 hz ips monitor dellp2416d). It is people with low end pc that my worry not people with high end pc’s like mine or better,

          1. *cringe* don’t want to see these kinds of comments anymore XD
            Also, 970 isn’t high-end anymore 0_0

    1. I agree with you after 10 mn of gameplay you will be fed up and want to stop like call of duty bo4 they still repeat what they do in the past over and over

  2. Well, it’s a Rebellion game so I wouldn’t have bought it regardless. They’ve been on my ‘to be avoided’ list ever since their spat with Green Man Gaming.

  3. I have dozens of games on my wishlist that are DRM free. If they don’t want my money that’s ok, I have many other games to spend it on.

  4. Damn. Rebellion trying everything to make their game sell like crap. It already is crap, now they add another layer of crap DRM to it.

Do they WANT to go bankrupt?

  5. Thanks for informing me since I cant block Denuvo games from appearing on my Steam. Another one to the black list. Im starting to understand GOG guys, you know, one just want to buy a game and play it, without the worries.
