Platinum Games has just launched a Kickstarter campaign for The Wonderful 101: Remastered. The Wonderful 101 is a “Unite Action” action-adventure that was directed by action game luminary Hideki Kamiya.
Now the good news here is that the game will be coming to the PC via Steam. Not only that, but the Kickstarter has already met its $50K goal. In fact, the Kickstarter is already at $650K and I’m pretty sure that it will hit 1 million dollars in just a few hours.
In this The Wonderful 101, players take control of the Wonderful Ones. The Wonderful Ones are heroes from all over the world that will defend the Earth from all manner extraterrestrial threats.
“When the peaceful Blossom City comes under attack by alien invaders, Wonder-Red, Wonder-Blue, and the rest of the Wonderful Ones suit up and unite to save the world.”
Unfortunately, Platinum Games has not shared any additional details on the improvements that the remaster will have. Still, we are pretty sure that a lot of Platinum Games’ fans will be happy to see this game coming on the PC.

Sweet! A really fun game that I own on Wii U and also already play at a higher internal rendering resolution (up to 7680×4320!) on PC via Cemu. Definitely buying this if the remaster is a genuine remaster.
Sad to see they didn’t use Indiegogo instead of the cancerous SJW filth that is Kickstarter. At least the $250K stretch goal for the PC version, which is specifically for Steam, has already been unlocked so Timmy Tencent won’t be poisoning the well.

no wonder it’s kickstarter was fully funded within hrs. heard many great things about viewful Joe.
I never really jived with the Viewtiful Joe games (there are some superb texture pack mods for it when using Dolphin, btw) but The Wonderful 101, despite it being a little clunky at times, was a blast.
Yeah I really hope it is a remaster similar to Resident Evil 2 quality.
Curios you mention “SJW filth that is Kickstarter” what do you mean? I have backed over a hundred games on KS and plan to use it for My own Video Game project, what is wrong with it? I just back what I like in terms of video games and ignore everything else, am I missing something? TIA

Hence for why most independent comic book creators of note use Indiegogo instead. Indiegogo thankfully doesn’t screen creators for ‘wrong-think’ and bar them from using their platform due to not marching in lock-step with SJW ideology.
Interesting I had no idea they did that. I just noticed at the end of the project steps to launch My KS there is a last step that reads “Project review – We’ll check to make sure it follows our rules and guidelines.” So this must be the step they see if they accept your way of thinking and ideas like you said.
