Electronic Arts and DICE have released the official reveal trailer for Battlefield 5’s Firestorm. According to the companies, Firestorm is Battle Royale re-imagined for the Battlefield series.
Firestorm will feature the largest Battlefield map ever with epic weapons and combat vehicles. Players will have to scavenge, fight and survive to become the last squad standing as a deadly ring of fire closes in.
According to a recent leak, Firestorm will feature three modes: solo, duo (2 player teams), squad (4 player teams) with a player maximum of 64 per match. All typical Battlefield classes will be present/playable, there will be a separate ranking system, players will parachute from a plane into the war zone and your hud will show an altimeter during the free fall / flight.
Battlefield 5 Firestorm will be available on March 25th.
Enjoy!

People are going to btch as usual but i’ll be one of the few saying « i liked this trailer ». Maybe this will be fun we never know.
It looks fun to me. I never had a problem with the base game either. I had a good time with the campaign and the multiplayer. Not the best BF game, but still probably the best shooter I played last year.
People will stop “bitching” when AAA starts bringing top quality back – consistently – sans microtransactions, overpriced DLC, or other stealth price gouging gimmicks. Last gen companies competed with one another with the most incredible blockbuster titles, so we are not pulling these ideas from thin air. This gen they compete over the most devious, perpetual wallet siphoning schemes, and even patented consumer manipulative in-game mechanics to push players into stores fraught with frustration, FOMO, and other psychological tricks. Companies like EA take advantage of our trust and love for the art form with doctored “in-game” trailers, disingenuous PR and marketing campaigns that not only use conventional methods but employ the use of paid “influencers” posing as “regular gamers” through armies of paid streamers, youtubers, community managers, and journalists.
It’s an all out assault on our ideas of what good, full games are – supplemented by high schoolish ad hominems like “whining” or “entitled” or “bitching” like yours to take attention away from facts and valid counter arguments. We know what good games are from the actual games that are still bringing great value – not from what EA and their social media thralls tell us, or from how they scold us.
Additionally, EA has the mass user data that gives them the most effective psychology tools to make consumers feel bad for not liking their products, and even tolerate their low value to where they give into finally buying. Their only last hurdle is keeping people blind to the fact that they have been scammed so players stay in the stores shopping.
I find it funny that EA and other GaaS scams have some die hard defenders who inflate the tiniest of positives to trick themselves into enjoyment, but top, well deserving games packed with high quality content are scrutinized for the smallest discrepancies to shine a light on and spread across social media.
I’m not going to argue with any of that because it all makes sense and i agree with it all. Consumers, instead of btching, should vote with their wallets. I started btching less while also buying less. Eventually, the good devs/publisher will still be there and the crappy ones will go bankrupt, is this an utopia or an out of reach ideal? I do not know. Worth a try. It seems people got the memo for Anthem which is deserved.
Edit : typo.
Funny, in this trailer, where female models would’ve made sense, they’re nowhere to be found. But on the ww2 battlefield you have to put tampons in your ears because of all the orgasmic screams (provided you borrowed some tampons from one of your fellow female tank driver).
But I guess once you burned yourself with soup, you end up blowing even in the yogurt…
I miss when this franchise wasn’t tasteless hogwash.
Loved it and Call of Duty since it’s first iteration, it’s really sad slowly seeing it all happen over the years, how DICE, Activision and EA blatantly lied, how many features they removed, how their main focus became consoles despite being FPS games bred on a PC environmment, how many ignorant retards praised it’s downturn in quality due to overblown marketing campaigns and how they’re the epitome of everything negative in this industry.
Imagine if this was the reveal trailer
Where the whamen and POC at? Don’t support this misogynist and racist dev.
