NVIDIA has just released a new driver for its graphics cards. The NVIDIA GeForce 591.74 WHQL driver offers the best gaming experience for the latest games and updates, and adds support for DLSS 4.5.
The NVIDIA GeForce 591.74 WHQL driver adds better support for new creative apps and updates. This includes improvements for NVIDIA Broadcast 2.1, new PyTorch features (NVFP4 and NVFP8) in ComfyUI, and faster RTX performance for LTX-2.
This new driver improves stability in Arena Breakout: Infinite. It also improves stability in Enshrouded on the GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. Moreover, Dying Light: The Beast should be more stable on your PC with this driver. For what it’s worth, I’ve finished Dying Light: The Beast with the previous driver, and I did not have any issues. Anyway, you can also enable HDR with Smooth Motion in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
And that’s not all. The NVIDIA GeForce 591.74 WHQL driver comes with some general fixes. For instance, it fixes some brightness adjustment issues on various displays. It fixes some slight banding issues that could be observed on gradiants in SDR color mode. Colors will now be applied correctly when using Digital Vibrance. Using RTX HDR on select televisions will no longer cause games to blackscreen. Moreover, RTX HDR in Vulkan games will no longer cause a black screen on LG OLED TVs.
