NVIDIA just released a new graphics card driver. The new GeForce 576.88 WHQL driver gives the best performance in the game Mecha BREAK. It also adds support for the new DLSS 4 updates for Diablo IV and Monster Hunter Wilds.
This driver fixes a couple of black screen issues. To be more precise, it fixes the black screen issue when installing drivers on some AMD Ryzen configurations. It also fixes the black screen bug that could occur when switching between 480Hz and 360Hz on Sony SDM-27Q10S monitor.
The NVIDIA GeForce 576.88 WHQL driver also packs a couple of game fixes. For instance, it fixes a bug that could lower the speed of your VRAM when enabling NVIDIA Smooth Motion. It will also fix a freeze issue in Cyberpunk 2077 under certain conditions on some notebooks. And that’s it.
If you’re not planning to play Mecha BREAK, Diablo 4, or Monster Hunter Wilds – and you don’t use NVIDIA Smooth Motion – you can skip this driver. It doesn’t add any big improvements. So, if your current driver is working fine, there’s no need to change it.
On the other hand, if you are interested in updating it, you can go ahead and download the driver from this link. Below, you can also find its complete changelog.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

NVIDIA doesn't look very dead to me…
They may be having issues on the GPU side, but they are still making all of the money.

u broke fool. why have u not switced over to a mac yet.
Because I don’t fancy paying $1500 for 8GB of system RAM.
people dont need more that 8gm of ram
Well, Apple users aren’t people so, technically, you’re not wrong. 🤣
Three AMD cultists downvoted your post lol. Same ppl that crying about Nvidia all the time in comments
I'm on an RTX 3070 Ti and the drivers have been stable for me. Granted it seems like RTX 30 series has been spared most of the issues NVIDIA has introduced since the RTX 50 series launch. That being said, I think they may have ironed out most of those issues.
I have a 4080 Super. I’m not taking any chances. But I do that with everything. I always have my Windows updates turned off. Every few months, I reboot my PC and I install whatever updates have been around for more than a month or so.
I prefer to do a drive image before installing Windows Updates, that way if anything bad happens because of an update I can reimage the drive with the last good image I made before installing updates.
Drivers work fine. They are not as bad as AMD drivers 🙄🙄🙄
