NVIDIA has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 457.51 WHQL driver adds official support for the RTX 3060Ti GPU.
Furthermore, this driver fixes a number of bugs and issues. For instance, it fixes some blue-screen crashes that could occur while playing or browsing videos from the Chrome browser. It also addresses some blue-screen crashes that could upon waking from sleep on the NVIDIA Ampere GPUs.
This driver does not offer optimal performance in any of the latest games. So basically, you can skip it if you have not purchased an RTX 3060Ti GPU.
You can download the NVIDIA GeForce 457.51 WHQL driver from here. You can also find its complete changelog below.

Apparently MSI has filed with the EEC and possibly the 3080 Ti 20 GB version could release next month.
I don’t know if it will happen but it would make sense since the RX 6800 XT has 16 GB and Nvidia likes to keep the lead on the high end.
Of course just because Nvidia releases a 3080 Ti with 20 GB doesn’t mean you can buy one right away.
nvidia already has the lead, because the 6800XT is a slower card, the 16 gigs of vram are useless and far overdone. 12 would have been enough. Keep in mind a potential 20 gig version will probably cost 1000 dollars
To be honest. I would get a AMD car even if its like 5% slower…. Or have less vram… Why? Cuz F Nvidia….
If playing heavier resolutions/settings and with the next gen of games coming more than 10 will be no doubt be a boon. Suspected the rumor the 20 gb cards were canned to be fake due to that fact alone, more likely leaked by one of the many players who didn’t want to be sitting on 10gb stock. And the new 20gb version wont come cheap either. Mid 3080-3090 territory is my bet
I don’t love what I paid for my 3090 BUT how was I going to go from a 1080ti with 11gb of ram to 10gb on the 3080 lol. I’m suprised so many people are totally fine with the whole 10gb thing. I’m using the 3090 to run the HP Reverb G2 and early benchmarks are already showing some games using 12ish etc.
Yeah their costly, grabbed mine mosly for gaming and i don’t want it to run out of vram once the new slew of games comes so the 3090 was the only choice from nvidia to fit that +´the rest of my checkmarks. Playing on an super-wide (5120×1440 screen) so basically 4k territory in pixels (a bit less but more fov so more objects visible due to that so load end up in about the same territory).
Don’t trust the reported allocated thoo, its not always used. Seen small non gfx complex games allocate all they can get their hands on ie 20+gb vram. Many devs allocate far more than they need since its easier. The additional vram of the 3090 will be a boon in the hands of skilled and non-lazy developers, allow it to keep way more assets loaded etc and thus save on storage + overheads etc.
Ah yess…. Another paper lunch….
Yeah but arent the 3000 series are more than 2 months on the market? LOL
it is not actually paper launch, in my country at least. This stuff available in a piecemeal at some official store , but the price… ouch …. the price is surely being jacked up even by the brand official store themselves…
How mutch more they are selling?
between US$ 500 – 600 , RTX 3070 even much more crazier than that
A bit bland.
Freestyle/Ansel]: After launching and then closing Star Wars: Squadrons, Freestyle/Ansel stops working on supported games.
I have this game and this bug so.despite im having a RTX 2080Ti i will install it
I’m looking forward to Nvidia Studio, where is it?
