    1. What kind of silly question is that. Obviously new drivers are better especially if you want to get the most out of Batman Arkham Knight.

    2. download it, try the game, if it runs fine skip the driver, if it runs a bit worse for wear, then try the new driver

    1. But they don’t have access to the review code, I hear coming. Only once have I seen a driver release before NVIDIA and when I had a R9 280 it did nothing, then they released a driver long after AC unity that fixed it’s terrible performance.

  1. This driver was supposed to add an SLI profile for Arkham Knight but people have been reporting that no SLI settings are present when viewing the profile in Nvidia Inspector. Also a bunch of SLI issues with the game are listed in the driver notes, such as random flickering and TDR crashes.

      1. The problems are with the game running on Windows 8.1, not problems with Windows 8.1 itself. Frankly it shouldn’t be having issues on any supported OS. I bet this driver was rushed, as evidenced by the absence of an SLI profile.

  2. Batman: AK has turned out to be terribly optimized, not that it’s a surprise. Even with this driver the performance is awful. A tip to people with SLI or dual-GPU setups: dedicate the second GPU to PhysX. I had terrible stutters and FPS drops all over the place with GTX 690. With second GPU dedicated to PhysX, it is more or less stable and playable now.
