Ah, you gotta love modders. A lot of gamers were greatly disappointed with No Man’s Sky’s dumbed-down flight controls. Thankfully though, modder ‘Hytek’ has released a mod that allows players to freely fly wherever they want. And yes, you can even fly underwater.
As its description reads:
“LowFlight lets you fly as low to the ground as you want and be able to look in any direction (normally, your ship cannot point downwards when near the ground). You can also fly underwater!
This mod modifies GCSPACESHIPGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN so it is incompatible with any mods that do so as well.”
Naturally, your ship will take damage if you crash into terrain, so be careful.

Now everytime I’m entering a planet, I forget that the game will not auto adjust and crash the bloody ship.
It’s really tempting to start mocking owners of peasant’s boxes and troll them with PC Master Race but I won’t descend to such methods.
On the other hand, it quite sad that modders have to do the devs’ work for them for free while those manipulative and straight-up lying individuals (professional smiling liar S. M.) are cashing in millions from their $ 60 product.

If the price were reasonably set at around $20 and the amount of lies considerably reduced, I bet the ratings on metacretic would be 7-8 not 3 (PC version, consoleros tend to rate higher because they are easily satisfied + there are many little kids among them)
about consoleros rating their games higher – they don’t have that many games per genre, less genre variety and less games overall; so that could also be a factor
