  1. Even though I do think Sean Murray is a fraudulent as*hat at best, and a pretentious complete wastecu*t at worst he at least is adding in content to No Man’s Sky after all this time and trying to make it like what the original idea he showed the world would be.

That at least deserves a smidgen of credit

    1. yeah i have been saying this for years BUT upon playing the game, its still freaking boring. Boring content is still boring doesn’t matter how much of it you add

      1. Yes because at it’s core it’s a resource grinding survival game, even the missions have you go get resources. The exploration is like Elite Dangerous, millions are planets and moons with nothing much on them or you do the same on each and they all look similar just various in colour due to the procedural tech.

I will say though that at least NMS has water, plants, atmosphere and NPCs you can interact with, ED doesn’t.

      2. I never commented on if the game was good or not. It is, in fact, sh*t still. Always was, is, and shall be no matter what content he adds to it since it’s exactly what Common sense said; A resource grinding survival game at heart.

Doesn’t change that he at least didn’t cave in from the pressure and abandon the game. That’s worth more credit than Bioware pushing out Anthem surely should receive.

  2. They really did mess up at launch. Like they REALLY botched it.

But this is one of the VERY few times that I’ve seen a dev do a 180 and really stand up for their game and stay devoted to improving it.

Kudos to them for doing that.
