Our reader ‘Simon Majar’ shared with us a new tech demo for CRYENGINE that shows off the SVOTI feature and the volumetric fog feature of CRYENGINE. Simon’s demo features two modes; one in which GI is disabled and another with full GI, diffuse and specular.
SVOTI (Sparse Voxel Octree Total Illumination) is a system that can achieve high quality global illumination in real time.
