I feel a bit dizzy.
seems normal to me.. not dizzy at all 😀 gtx 560 and phenom II are really ancient tbh.. but it would surprise me a bit if those recommended specs can’t run it maxed at 60fps all the time…
there’s nothing normal about those. I5 is a cpu that people usually take pride in, and believe it’s a fast cpu. This game has it on minimum, you know what minimum means, barelly running at lowest possible settings. A GeForce 560 is a very fast card for all the games and console ports up to this point. It can run games with all the details for the most part, with nice framerates. All of a sudden, it’s the bare minimum to just start the game. Not cool. Not cool at all
I’m still running a i5 2400 and GTX560 still pleased with the performance of it , upgrade is needed soon though
In my experience, minimum has always been a bit underrated. I was using an 8800GT and E7400 CPU which was always the minimum requirement for the last few years in games and I always got acceptable performance. Granted I was only playing at 900p but still. I think they make a minimum which will still give a good visual fidelity and good performance. It’s similar to Witcher 3. The one dev said that they are making a minimum spec which can run the game at good visuals but and at least 30fps. Also, in the system I mentioned, I usually got about 40fps. Games that ran shitty were the terrible ports such as GTA4, Shadow Warrior, Ghost Recon Future Soldier etc. I even tested Tomb Raider at 1080p and I still got at least 30fps minimum.
I’m currently on Newegg justing adding things to the cart that I probably won’t buy (lol, sad), and hooooooooly shit, this gave me the pi$$ shivers. But gave me a new perspective too (that I’m f’ing poor).
“that I’m f’ing poor”
count me in 😀
“We can make it run fine on a $400 PS4 but you’ll need a $1300 PC.”
True words, also “We could put effort and make the game for everybody, but let’s keep the game on a proprietary tech and paid operational system.”
ALL this Requirements and at the end a non finished s#ity games full of bugs without soul Need 1000 of nonsense huge update that fix s#it. i’m not sad at all…
What the f’ are you talking about? First off, learn some fucking english if you’re going to talk on the internet. Secondly, there’s nothing wrong with the game that anyone has yet to see yet. You have 1 8 min. gameplay trailer and 1 story trailer. Where have you been getting your info? A non-english speaking website I presume?
who are you ? really. Shadow of Mordor’s director ? lol
and how his english is related to game’s problems ?
yeah brah, so high requirements so much gb and all that for games becoming less interesting and filled with bugs at day one.
im wondering why it jumped from 25 GB to 40 GB. Usually they ship the full quality textures with a higher LOD bias on them to compress. No way theres 15 GB of extra textures. Guess its just spec inflation like ghosts or watch dogs
IMO it should be an option on the game download and/or install. Why the hell keep bloating the game with the unused audio languages and stuff?
And that is why i like repacks lol 🙂
Oh you sneaky one!
yep. gotta inflate the size to pretend its “next gen”
GTX 670 ? for those PS2 like graphics ? (latest trailer)
funny system recommended for a downgraded peace of crap, even if the PC version looks like the first gameplay trailer it’s still too much, becuase the first one doesn’t looked that good.
1.horrible optimization (fps drop was all over the place in first trailer)
2.fake specs
The recommended GPU could probably be for people who want to max the game out completely. I still prefer it when devs release 3 requirements for games. Minimum, Recommended and High Performance; specs like that gives up a good idea where we stand.
i don’t think thats the case. i know what you saying, or it could been 8xSSAA, but still it is fake or horrible
“GTX 670 ? for those PS2 like graphics ? (latest trailer)”
gotta love that hyperbole……smh
not exactly PS2 like, but still downgraded as hell in latest trailer
remind of watch dog pc requirement lol
this remind me of watch dog pc requirement that cause lot of debate
You should see the debates on n4g on these. Lol
I think we should be smart and not panic about this guys.
Exactly, alot of this system requirements are BS marketing for selling the bigger and better PC parts, then it comes out and needs like half to run just fine.
This is normal for next gen. A hyperthreaded i7 or 8 core AMD will be the requirement for most next gen games and 8 Gigs of RAM isn’t expensive at all. And a 670 is what two years old?
ok, two years old! now what ? buying a high end card every year ? it’s a powerful high end video card and it’s not cheap. on the other hand, the game doesn’t look good at all. it’s like you need 4x more raw power to be able to play a not so next-gen ish title.
i really need to upgrade my q6600
I did recently, to an i5 3570k, trust me its worth it lol!
best buy here is the i5 4670k, i got money for that but i need more for a mb and that costs about the same, was thinking asus rog
Holy Shit!!
Minimum requirements are surpassing even Watch Dogs!!!
except the ram….
That sounds fishy. Why would you need a better cpu/gpu with less ram? Wouldn’t that bottleneck it?
No, not always. Hell, RAM is the least important out of the bunch.
I wouldn’t say anything is least important of the bunch as they can’t work without each other. Of coarse it depends on the game or application or whatever. But for gaming it’s weird how this sounds….
True, but you can live off of ~6GB of RAM @ 1333mhz while the CPU and GPU are top end. The RAM isn’t as crippling in the bottleneck area as it is GPU v CPU, or CPU v GPU. Or Mobo V GPU and Mobo V CPU.
no it wouldn’t.. but u can see the performance difference…
gtx 560 and hd 6950 are fine with 4gb of ram..
If you need a PC 4x more powerful than a console to run this then that’s some shit-poor optimization, if any at all. Sounds like PC’s are just brute-forcing this game.
Nope.
Maybe they mean 8 threads. But I suspect 8 cores/threads might become the normal when reading these because the PS4/Xbox One has 8 cores.
They will on console. But I built my first pc a month ago with a i5 4670k and a 4gb gtx 760 and I hope they last a while. I5 is similar to i7 with hyperthreading disabled and I don’t wanna upgrade for a long time. Lol
But only 6 cores are for Games, 5 c. to be exact 1 c. is for sound. Cuz’ 2 cores are reserved for OS
Ahh right. Thanks for that. =)
this recomended is minimum for playing theese days , so i feel not dizzy
Yep, looks normal to me also
Clearly this is a case of those filthy consoles holding back PC gaming. Those requirements wouldn’t be so high if it weren’t for the consoles.
I have a phenom 955 at 3.2 so i cant play this.
In my experience, minimum never really means that you are just able to get the game starting. You’ll be fine with that CPU. (unless you are being sarcastic?)
yeah i am sarcastic some guy barelly hit the minimum on dead rising 2 and played it just fine.
Seriously something weird is going on with this game.
I was using an 8800GT and E7400 before I upgraded and those components were always listed as minimum requirements for quite some time now. Thing is, I ran those games at reasonable settings at 900p and the games still looked and ran way better than the 360/PS3 versions. That’s why I think that people sometimes underrate the minimum requirements of games.
gtx 670 for that game something wrong i fell this game will need more than 10 update to run good even on gtx 780ti hope i’m wrong
Something is wrong here , Either it is not optimized well or this is just PR stunt .
Got it covered and then some, still not interested in the game though.
Same my rig is well above these specs but the game looks meh. Might get it when its cheap on steam sales.
curious if, when the game does come out, we will see full use of 6-8 cores and more than 3GB ram.
That’s bullshit, i can run it very nice with my AMD A4-4000 dual core processor and 3,2 of available RAM without lag
hEll yeah? R U Sure???
