Microsoft Will Announce More Xbox One Games Coming To The PC In The Next Few Months

At this year’s E3, Microsoft revealed that Gears of War Ultimate Collection and Killer Instict are coming to Windows 10. Naturally, a lot of gamers are not convinced about Microsoft’s intentions, which is why they’ve been asking for even more Xbox One games coming to the PC. And according to Microsoft’s Kudo Tsunoda, the company will announce more PC games in the coming months.

As Kudo Tsunoda told MaximumPCMag when asked about Halo or Tomb Raider coming to the PC:

“You know we can’t have any announcements about that stuff today, but for sure there is going to be a lot more, you know, a lot more announcements coming as we roll towards Gamescom.”

So far, three Xbox One titles are coming to the PC. These are Fable Legends, Killer Instict and Gears of War Ultimate Edition. Both Fable Legends and Killer Instict will support cross-platform play between Xbox One and PC.

  1. i dunno about you guys, but im afraid that the GFWL 2.0 will be back, they probably wont be at steam at all but rather in some xbox app BS that you have to download from their marketplace.

    1. They have already said they aren’t bringing back Games for Windows Live.

Windows 10 has its own app/game store, I bet you they’ll sell the MS published games there. Why do you think they keep mentioning windows 10 when saying a certain game is coming to PC? If it’s coming to pc it should run on 8.1, 7 etc unless my theory is correct.

  2. Rise of the Tomb Raider and Quantum Break are coming for sure. Hopefully Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 1 & 2 will make it to PC as well. PCs with DirectX 12 will be a great home for Forza franchise and will win over car enthusiasts from around the world, especially where the Xbox One reach is limited and Windows PCs are the dominant platform of choice for gamers.

      1. All Remedy games have been on PC and had the most success on PC. Quantum Break will be not be any different.

        1. I do agree with the Forza point. Forza is a great racing game and there are TONS of racing fans around the world who do not have access to an xbox one. Forza on PC would be a HUGE win for MS.

          1. It will also make the Forza brand much much more stronger and greatly decrease the significance of Gran Turismo series if both Xbox and PC gamers have a yearly Forza release while Playstation gamers wait half a decade for a Gran Turismo and still get a disappointing product.

    1. I don’t mind xbox games come to pc! Xbox will not be hurt by the masses who don’t want to build gaming pc’s.

Microsoft is truly keeping their word and supporting pc!!

Console companies make most of the money from software anyway.

More $$$ to Microsoft. Love the native screen recorder also!

  3. Hope Windows 10 has a built in Xbox 360 emulator with a store. We may get to play Perfect Dark or Bayonetta or Red Dead Redemption.

    Although I doubt it…

    1. Well clearly MS has a working 360 emulator for x86 based Windows systems, otherwise Xbox One wouldn’t have backwards compatibility.

That said, you’re dead wrong if you think they’ll let that one out in the open. Selling Xbox 360 games is part of their business model now, and MS needs some selling point for the Xbox One.

      1. x1 doesnt have backwards compatability. Its certain games that they chose to remake for x1 hardware. Their not playing the 360 game directly. When you enter your disk the x1 downloads a copy of the game compatible with it.

        1. Actually no, that’s not accurate. Every single 360 game would be playable on this emulator… the only thing that can prevent a game being added is the publisher denying permission. The downloading with disc inserted is to prove you own the game, and all games have to be installed to operate on the system.

That’s nothing like remaking games for the x1 hardware, it’s not even debatable… they’ve publically stated the emulator is compete, it can run every single 360 game, today.

          1. nope… here it is

Will every Xbox 360 game eventually be available via backward compatibility?

“It’s up to gamers to tell us what they want.
We do all the work, but there is a little bit of work and part of that
involves talking with the publisher and making sure that this is
consistent with their goals for the game as well. So, as gamers ask us,
we will deliver.” Microsoft General Manager of Games Publishing Shannon Loftis explains during a chat at E3.

            http://www.engadget.com/2015/06/18/xbox-one-backward-compatibility-how-it-works/

          2. You lterally reaffirmed my point, am I missing something… What does the nope relate to?

“the only thing that can prevent a game being added is the publisher denying permission”

I, at no point, claimed every 360 game WILL be available. I was refuting the comment to which i was replying:

“Its certain games that they chose to remake for x1 hardware.”

Go on another surf and you’ll find they clearly say the emulation software is good to go… of course they need to gain permission and add the title to the catalog making it available to download.. but again I was simply stating the SOFTWARE can emulate any 360 game today.

Please enlighten me as to what you were referring to, or did you just not coherently read my post?

  4. “We are fully committed to gaming on windows 10” yada yada yada

Giving us a subpar fighter and a remaster is a lame way to show commitment

    1. you go back probably 2-3months and read the same exact thing, and then go back another 2/3months and see it all over agian

  5. Bring all the xbox games to Windows 10. For all i care, make it Windows Store exclusives. Stop treating PC gamers and 2nd class citizens.

    1. That would be a no brainer if Xbox Live didn’t exist. No doubt they’re trying to figure out how to milk us as hard as console gamers.

    2. I KEEP SAYING THIS

JUST MAKE EVERYTHING A WINDOWS 10 EXCLUSIVE IF THEY DONT WANT EVERYBODYS HANDS ON IT

SELLING WINDOWS WOULD BE LIKE SELLING A CONSOLE TO PC GAMERS, SELL IT AS A OS FOR GAMING

WHY DONT THEY THINK OF THESE THINGS

      1. windows 10 is free, because cheap pc faggots are too poor to pay for their operating system.
you have people that are still on xp…that’s the master race for you.

        1. some people are also on win2k.. for technical reasons, not “poor” reasons. Microsoft knows it is easy to pirate their software, literally, 2 clicks and you’re done; activation. even ATMs in the states are skipping win7 & win8 but going straight to win10 because this windows will be the last microsoft releases. from here on out, they will just update the current OS (win10). idk why I replied to you, clearly you’ve not done your homework on the subject.

        2. Yeah, too poor to pay for a video card the same or more money than what you paid for your dumb box.

        3. hahaha.

Yeah, some people are still on Windows XP. You know why? Because we actually have a choice in what we use. Something a console gamer will never have.

          Stay mad, peasant.

          1. those people are not gamers. They are people who use pc only for some simple work.

    3. Yes and also they should make Xbox Live payment mandatory for MS exclusives, no Steam. That would be a firewall against cheaters and pirates

      1. How about making you have to use a controller, better yet uninstall steam.
What about other games? Uninstall. Dont use IE? Cant play. Havent got the default wallpaper, cant play!

Youre truly a retarded person. Go, play halo

  6. Good. The sooner console exclusivity dies, the better. And the peasants will really see what they are missing out on because of their unceasing loyalty to a plastic box.

    1. I’m a PC gamer at heart. Always have been, always will be. I enjoy playing games like StarCraft 2, Dota 2, CS:GO, and I look forward to Star Citizen. My current gaming rig has a Core i5-4570 and 2x Gigabyte Radeon R9 280Xs OC’d. With that said, I really don’t understand the hate for console gamers. I’m not a fan of console exclusivity and I think gaming consoles are under-powered and overpriced. However, I don’t think it’s fair to classify someone as “inferior” because of their preferences.

I’d happily introduce someone to PC gaming and I can argue the merits of it quite easily. What I won’t do, however, is force it down someone’s throat. The decision is theirs and theirs alone. I don’t have any issues with someone preferring a console over a PC. We’re gamers and we shouldn’t be fighting over what is superior or what is better because none of that matters when it comes down to preference. Just because a gaming PC offers a heck of a lot more in terms of performance and selection doesn’t mean people should prefer it over the Xbox One or PS4.

      1. They hinder progress and enable anti-consumer practices, like paid online, prices, exclusivity. A game coming to PC doesn’t affect consoles, a game coming to consoles affects PC.

We have all the rights to despise them.

        1. No, you don’t. It’s a different market and developers/publishers usually go where the money is. It’s pathetic, really. The whole “PC master race” superiority thing. You can blame console developers and publishers for making poor ports or design choices around inferior hardware but you can’t blame console gamers. It’s not their fault that PC gamers sometimes get the short end of the stick when it comes to a quality game.

          1. If we get the short end they get the shorter one. Consoles are outdated overpriced locked hardware that only exist because re**rds buy them, it’s not a different market, the only difference are the exclusives which only hurt the consumer.
If console gamers didn’t gobble up every sh*t it’s thrown at them, the gaming industry would be healthier in every way.

          2. you are taking the “it’s not the consumers fault” but you are omitting “the consumer has SOME responsibility” — as an American, I’m painfuly reminded of this every day.

          3. Some responsibility to whom? PC gamers? Why in the world should someone, who only cares about console gaming, care about PC gamers? I highly doubt you care about console gamers when you’re reading about PC exclusives.

          4. ideally the consumer is supposed to weed out the poor buisness practices. when people keep pre ordering, buying crappy/ useless dlc, and just rolling over and accepting a major jack up in prices for games that are lower and lower quality (and i mean on the code side of things) we have a reason to be pissed. now i dont agree with going around and making console players feel like s^!t (or vice versa for you console guys) we just need to educate eachother so that major companys dont keep taking advantage of us

          5. responsibility to gaming. You seem to have a huge stick up your a*s about PC gamers. read my previous comment, I never mentioned PC masterrace, PC gaming, or PC in general. get over it, ffs.

          6. Can you blame those that voted in an election for Congress’s ineptness? It was their choice in the voting booth that influenced how the country is run. In the same way, being misinformed about consoles, and not bothering to do extra research, is another vote for more console exclusives, and all of Sony/MS’s bad business practices. Money is what makes the world go round, and who are the Xbox/PS divisions’ sources of that? Console gamers.

          7. That’s not a valid comparison. Democracy and a free market are two very different things. People buy consoles because they like them. Companies market it to a specific group of consumers and what they do with their money is their choice. You can’t complain about people spending money the way they see fit because of the actions of some developers and publishers. There are examples of great PC games that happen to be on consoles too (like Battlefield 4 or The Witcher 3). And there are examples of shoddy ports like GTA IV and the Need for Speed games.

PC gamers have no right to complain about console exclusives so I don’t know why you mentioned that like it’s some sort of bad thing.

          8. You have no idea what you are talking about.

It’s their choice; and they chose poorly.

Their choice affects everyone; their choice literally retarded gaming.

I have every right to complain about conslow exclusives because fans of such exclusives are not getting the best possible experience(which is on PC) and it segregates “gamers.”

There are shoddy ports, so what? CSGO is on consoles too and it’s never updated.

By your (faulty) logic, it’s Hitler’s choice to attempt to exterminate the Jews(a choice that hurt him, his own people, and most others in the long run but with some short-term benefits…just like choosing to buy a console); what gives you any right to complain about it?

          9. People shouldn’t berate anyone for what they buy.

It all comes down to a personal choice and if we are fortunate enough that we can scale our needs to what we want then there is nothing wrong with owning handhelds, consoles or other gaming setups. There’s nothing retarded in that whatsoever.

PC’s are always going to trump consoles because of the superior technology we all know this, but that doesn’t make console gamers anything but gamers IF they choose a console over a gaming PC.

We all know that some PC gamers have done a lot for the gaming industry via mods ect, but I bet they still own another gaming device as well as their PC. It’s much better on the PC for gaming ( IF you have a PC able to play new games good ) but of course the console will be far easier to enjoy gaming on for certain people lE kids, couples, ect.

It’s good for PC gamers to be able too experience games from MS or XBL gaming via Windows 10 on PC who never owned a console before ( or played console exclusive games ) instead of hearing from certain PC gamers this old hat..*Who wants to play console games, they are crap and boring*…?

          10. all exclusives are bad for gaming. (see what I did there? GAMING not PC GAMING) -__-‘

          11. I don’t get your point. “People vote for politicians because they like them. Parties market it to a specific group of voters and what they do with their money is their choice. You can’t complain about voter voting the way they see fit because of the actions of some politicians.” You could just as easily have replaced customers/companies/devs with equivalents in politics. So, yes, it is a valid comparison. Free market *is* based upon “votes”, the success of the product depends on the number of people that pay money to them, just as the success of a politician depends on the number of people that vote for them – hence the phrase “vote with your wallet”. These “votes” tell companies it is a-ok to continue their bad business practices: without anyone supporting those practices with money, it would go away.
And exclusives are bad for the gaming community as a whole. Low budget studios notwithstanding, most AAA exclusives are bought out by MS/Sony to be (a timed or permanent) exclusive to only their console. This makes it so that gamers can only experience some of the best games of their generation by buying all the platforms, instead of just one, a sort of passive blackmail to buy their product and line their pockets, if you will.

          12. You just completely contradicted yourself.

As you said publishers go where the money is. Millions of people line up for hours to buy the newest potatobox before there are even any decent games for it. They make irrational decisions about what they purchase and it’s hurting the entire gaming industry.

Publishers are a business. They don’t care about us, they care about making money. So long as people continue buying underpowered consoles and shallow unfinished games then that’s what they’ll continue to make.

This hurts everyone, not just PC gamers. Console gamers aren’t the enemy, but they certainly need to be educated. You call it a “superiority thing”. I call it stating the facts.

        2. As this may be true. Still have to remember that it’s a choice. They pay out of their wallets because they want gaming to be “easy” where “it just works”. So they pay for a subscription service, they pay extra for games, and they pay extra for content. All of this is in the name of being “easier” than PC.

And me personally, I’m just fine with that. They literally spend THOUSANDS more than someone like me and they don’t realize it. The best we can do is split the community into people who actually pay attention and people who are just casual gamers.

The casual gamers will ALWAYS buy into sh*t they don’t understand. And they won’t see the light of the PC argument, because they are casual gamers and only see pc gaming as something nerds do. Meanwhile gaming in general is a “nerd” hobby.

      2. Voicing out an opinion like that won’t matter here, a lot of people here just don’t care. They love criticizing everything. I have been here since the site started, and I have seen majority of people here nitpicking everything.

They will just give you excuses as to why it is apparently justified. In fact out of nowhere, even if it has nothing to do with the article in question, they will start bringing out points against the consoles.

      3. I’m with you. I think The PC Master Race should stop what he is doing. If he really want more console gamers to join the PC gaming community, he should be encouraging the console gamers. Not insulting them.

        1. Right? But that would mean they’d have to rationalize their purchasing decisions another way. After all, they spent considerably more money on their gaming PC than most console gamers spend on their gaming equipment.

      4. Exactly. Specifically, an anti-PC gamer consumer conspiracy. As if everyone is out to ruin their precious PC gaming experience. And they have the nerve to call themselves real gamers. They’re nothing but whiny man-children that think they’re smarter than everyone else.

      5. Oh shove it Mr butthurt. Its people like you that Coffee now says “warning contents are hot”.

        1. Spare me your vain attempt at superiority and next time, come up with a better insult. The only thing you’ve done so far is demonstrate your pathetically low intelligence. Try again, Herp.

          1. You have demonstrated your lack of understanding to what intelligence really is and it’s measurements as well as punched holes in your own argument on here.

Someone posted a joke and it flew right over your little head. You went on a massive diatribe about how the PC master race is offensive and not funny. (Hint: it’s a joke).

You then proceeded to explain that the customer does not control the market. However the market is adapted to the supply and demand theories. If there is no demand there will be no supply for an item. This means that consoles were designed around consumer interest and demand.

The Meme language is something you end with to demonstrate intelligence? Adding incomplete and butchered words?

Come back in a few years when you have grasped how the world works and stop bitching about how the sun spins around earth.

          2. There you go again, demonstrating your pathetically low intelligence. It’s amusing that you’re deflecting with “But.. but.. it’s a joke.. I swear.” I’m wondering if I should even correct your painfully obvious grammatical errors.

Be gone, Herp. Your comments bore me and you bring nothing to this discussion but nonsense.

          3. You are nothing more than a pathetic keyboard warrior who has been painfully proven wrong and now you’re b**ching about trying to give everyone else your h**pes of stupidity.

      6. Wow. The vitriole spit by those that count themselves among the “PC Master Race” is absolutely appalling. I have a PC as well (i5 2500k OC 4.3 ghz, GTX 970), but I also have a ton of consoles from current gen dating back to NES. I love my PC, I love the improved experiences is provides. I love the exclusives (aka smaller devs who can’t afford to port to consoles, so I know it is different), I love the free market pricing. But I also love my consoles. I love owning physical versions of games. I love that I can play with my non-PC owning friends as not everyone has the money, inclination, or knowhow to bother with PC gaming.

Like just about every game I can play regardless of platform, I wait until it gets cheap enough for me to justify. I have a hard time getting my head around why there is so much hate from PC gamers to console gamers: amazing I’ve seen “retard” throw around so much here in regards to their choice of playing on consoles. I’m an informed consumer and I choose to have it all. Apparently exclusives hurt the industry as a whole…unless they happen to be on the platform of your choice that is. It is fine to have PC exclusives, but not console exclusives.

If exclusives hurt the industry on the whole, would that not follow that all games should be available on consoles? Nope, because it isn’t exclusives that make the industry weaker, it’s consoles as far as the PCMR is concerned. I have a Steam catalog of over 900 games, I have a backlog of console games I’ll never hope to get through. But I like both. I guess my choice is the wrong one, because it is different than yours.

*I know it’s an old thread, but I had to at least voice my opinion. Even if it fell on the deaf ears of the ether.

    2. Yes it’s pathetic, it really is. Console gaming is not what it used to be but they continue to think it is. I got given a PS3 for my Daughter last week, the amount of updates you have to do just to play a damn game and all the waiting, ugh glad I don’t play on consoles any more. Setting one up is slower than setting up Windows LOL.

      1. Just google “ps4 shadow of mordor mission not fully downloaded” or “ps4 alien isolation blue screen” or “ps4 bf4 lost savegamers” or “master chief collection 20gb update”

        1. Unified Updates?

A 10 year old System will have a lot of Updates, yes, this is guaranteed.

A 10 year old System should also have Unified Updates in order to cut it down from 500 Updates to say 20-30, at most.

These older Games should have them too now that they’re done being continuously updated. One, single download to take them from V1.0 to vx.x & save a lot of time downloading pointless Data really isn’t too much to ask for.

      2. Even my Wii U is starting to do it even for Nintendo titles!!! Crazy but its not as bad as other consoles still.

    3. I’m a little confused by your post. So you think that MS will kill off the Xbox brand by making all of it’s exclusives multiplatform? That makes no damn sense! Why the hell would anyone want to buy an XBO if they could just play all it’s games on the PC? Delusional thinking, such a thing would be certain suicide for the XBO.

  7. Microsoft is in a really bad position. When they release to many big AAA Xbone games on PC, the console gamers will be pissed of, but when Microsoft keeps their biggest releases on console and only releases smaller titles on PC, the PC crowd will be pissed off. Really not a good situation for MS.

    1. The XB1 console community is no where near the scale on PS4. No point trying to please a minority and miss out the opportunity for the majority.

    2. When you say Xbox gamers, you’re really just referring to the demographic who care more about bragging rights than their own interests as a consumer. Nothing tangible is lost from these titles being on PC; if anything it’ll result in those titles receiving more funding & Microsoft finding new ways for their console to be competitive. No matter what — the consumer wins.

It’s sad how pervasive anti-consumer brand loyalty is nowadays (in general). I can only imagine how hilarious it must be to a board of directors watching us create & spread corporate propaganda for them.

      1. I dont think sony fanboys care about bragging rights thats the sony borg who defend sony, xbox gamers care about halo and gears and cod, thats it.

        aka dudebros

      2. Ms is where it is also because they failed hard in creating a fanbase that could buy into their ecosystem.
too many focus shifts and leadership changes and lack of a clear direction made it so that after all these years, sony is still the number1 gaming brand on earth.
        GG microsoft.

    3. it is not much diffirent on sony’s side, nearly 90% of what they showed were multiplats. But sony has first party studios.

  8. why would anybody ask this guy about tomb raider ? it’s a timed exclusive, microsoft didn’t made it, they don’t even own it and releasing it on PC is not on MS, but they want to take credit for it so hard when it’s released.

  9. **Fable Legends, Killer Instict and Gears of War Ultimate Edition.**

Oh. Oh my. I can barely contain my excitement for those old-ass games. /sarcasm=TRUE

    1. uh? KI is barely 1.5 years old, the other 2 arent even out yet.
plus there’s also sea of thieves and ori released this year also.
pc c*nts are so entitled it makes me sick just by reading at your bull**it.

    1. the code is crap, so they propably gonna have to put it in a new version of the rage engine. The rage engine was created by RDR and max payne 3 beat gta v releasing with the lastest version of the engine.

I think they is a rumor of a RDR remake.

        1. google it. something RDR is being worked on, looking at all the remasters you can bet it is either RDR or a sequel.

          1. Exactly a sequel is being worked on. Not a remake that you said in the original comment

  10. they probably won’t announce anything big but if they announce any good game i will definitely buy even if they are not on Steam. (Ori and the Blind Forest was awesome and it was on Steam)

PS: Cuphead is on Steam too. nice.

  11. I wanted Microsoft to convince me into buying their console because I bought Sunset Overdrive for 3$ a week ago but everything they have done has made me want an Xbox less and less so I guess I’ll stick with my PC and PS4 for now. :/

    1. And who the F*CK are DUMB enough to wants console exclusives just to get a console!

You RETARDED F*CKER, if you want to play an INFERIOR version, then just buy the console and let the SUPERIOR pc version be. You and any once else that wants to buy a crappy console with S*TTY graphics over a better version..Well one word you brainless F*CKER, GTFO IDIOT!

        1. Yeah BUBBA, I am a spokesperson for the MASTER RACE, you DUMB F*CKING PEASANT POS!!

For those few idiots that want to buy an overpriced POS box just to have ugly graphics. Well it’s you money IDIOTS, but please keep that RETARDED thinking to yourself!

          1. I play on all systems including and mainly PC. Try writing down what you are going to say then reading it aloud to yourself. Your preferences and opinions are not the worlds. You just think they are. Reading it just sounds like a cat fight.

  12. Consoles aren’t PC and PC aren’t consoles , i miss the good old days where PC had its exclusives and console had their own exclusives

now we are seeing PC games on Consoles and consoles games on PC what the f is going on here ?

    1. What’s wrong with that? Let everyone play the games they want on the platforms they want to. I wouldn’t care if a PC exclusive ended on Xbox…

      1. but PC games will be dumbed down (Diablo 3) and PC gamers will suffer because of this

  13. crossing my fingers for a proper halo3 port….. probably getting my hopes up for nothing though considering their track record….. if they port the MCC ill be pissed….

  14. They also have Project Spark that is also cross-platform and available now for Windows 8…and Gigantic too. Things are coming together…

  15. I’d like to see Sunset Overdrive come to PC. I started it on Xbox One last fall and stopped playing anticipating a PC release at 60 fps. Hopefully Insomniac announces it at Gamescom.

  16. You made a pretty big mistake. You wrote ‘Gears of War Ultimate Collection’, implying it’s a collection of Gears games. It’s actually ‘Gears of War: Ultimate Edition’, a dolled up remaster of the original Gears.

  17. Tomb Raider will but Halo no. They have that Free to Play Halo Game coming out on PC. Also Forza,Crackdown, and Quantum Break most likely will make it. Gear Ultimate is going to PC because of Gear 1 so it made since and if it sells well on PC Gears 4 might join it months after the Xbox one version releases

      1. “pc c*nts are so entitled it makes me sick just by reading at your bull**it.”

If that statement is fact, then do you mind giving me a credible source for it?

  18. Do you have a problem with comprehending what you’re reading? He never said he wanted backwards compatibility, he said he wanted an official Xbox 360 emulator on PC.

  19. looks like both publishers and Sony/MS will go to the PS4/PC X1/PC route , it lower costs for Sony/X1 as a console exclusive is a lot cheaper for them than total exclusive and for publishers it is better to get better sales by going 1 console/PC than total exclusive as the amount of money paid for console exclusive + console sales + RANDOM PC sales is better for them than just putting their game on one console

  20. I don’t think QB will since it’s single player game, it feels like MS like multiplayer focus game to PC, so for future title, i think Crackdown is more likely than QB.

    1. It is a Remedy game and all remedy games has been released on pc. So it is only a matter of time until it comes t o pc.

      1. Actually it is MS game, MS own the ip, scroll down and check s_fnx’s reply.

So if it port to PC, MS will still publish it unlike Alan Wake(you can check AW’s page in steam, it’s not publish by MS)

    2. QB is supposed to have multiplayer. Also this is a Xbox game most of there games have multiplayer

        1. I was told it was gonna have multiplayer but I haven’t heard anything about it & thinking about it now idk how multiplayer would work in this game

  21. Well they dont have much to port – likely candidates are one of Forza games (as we already saw them running on Windows) – personally i would rather got Horizon instead of Motorsport one a we already have Asseto and PCars. Other likely candidate is MCC judging by recent MS executives and Halo devs tweets and comments. And Suste Overdrive GOTY might be possible aswell as we got that advertisment leak/mistake or whatever that was in October.

  22. Yes……… Give me more cross platform games on my PC, so that I may mop the floors with someone playing on a controller.

I would go as far to assume that they’ll never allow fast twitch based shooters and RTS’s to play between platforms at the same time. This would a field day for anyone on a keyboard and mouse.

There is no way a controller can keep up with a mouse and keyboard….

  23. I have a console since 1986, and I play in PC too, but my favority is my console…My opinion is: Microsoft give exclusives in windows 10, not in SteamOS! Microsoft wiil gain in PC and Xbox One, KI, GOWUT and FL only on Windows 10! You wiil buy or upgrade for W10 and buy games from Microsoft to play. (Microsoft want conquer the world…hahaha) SteamOs wiil lose same people because the best games wiil be played in Windows 10, kids with combo PS4-PC will play games from XBOX ONE in PC with W10 giving a lot of money from Microsoft, guys with combo WiiU-PC will play gamers from XBOX ONE in PC giving money from Microsoft, guys with XBOX ONE don’t need PC to play games from XBOX ONE, they can buy another console, like PS4 or WiiU and play more exclusives, PC alone have a lot of games but don’t have exclusives from PS4 or wiiU, PC have a best resolution, a best framerate, but I start play in ATARI, and now I see the Witcher IIII! For me , whatever resolution or framerate, when I started playing there was nothing that and I honestly do not care about that , since I can enjoy myself!

  24. Microsoft’s strategy is very clear, just do not see who does not want … Microsoft wants to take a naca of players PS4 and Wii U and steamos to his side through the One games for Windows 10, thus winning more customers and generating more revenue! If u have the combo PS4 / PC or Wii U / PC and will want to play the KI, Gears of War and Halo EU MCC on the PC, then u will have to purchase them from Microsoft, generating you income, who have not XBOX ONE You need to buy and will already give money to Microsoft with the ONE games, who has the combo Wii U / PC will do likewise, and who has only PC? These, if not leave the steamos will have to necessarily have Windows 10 and buy said games “non-exclusive” xbox one increasing interest in Microsoft games and generating more revenue for the Redmond company, one way or other Microsoft wins … who has Ps4 purchase of Microsoft, who have Microsoft buying Wii U, who has steamos purchase of Microsoft … and still say that Microsoft will not dominate the world … kkkk

  25. MS should just admit it that the garbage they created and named Xbox One is at it’s end, so it’s in their best interest to move their exclusive titles to PC where 4k res prevails. Unlike their shtty box with 900p resolution and struggling.

    1. Hell yeah bro, thats exactly whats it’s all about!
MS are sh*tting their pants over Valve/SteamOS. That and that the crapbox dont sell are making them well SH*T in their pants..LOL!

      1. Perhaps they realize that their money is in Windows and they should have been pushing it from the start. I mean supposedly they made the Original Xbox to push Windows.

  26. If I never had them on PC, how is that backwards compatibility?

I meant that as wishful thinking, nothing else!

Either way sooner or later all this games will be playable on PC.

Either way I would never waste my money on an Xbox.

  27. I do look forward to Windows 10 being released next month, Hopefully after that we should start to see some big announcements at Gamescom, PAX & EB Games Expo this year and of course GDC early next year.

  28. So many hate when people’s should be happy they will get access to more. Good more brands not following Microsoft step gamers are just a bunch of high school girls who’s never satisfied with anything.

  29. I think it would be absolutely insane if MS announced 360-compatibility with Windows 10, to where you could buy 360 games through the Xbox Windows 10 app and play them on your PC. Just an out-there crazy a*s prediction for Gamescom next month.

  30. Your words have not fallen on deaf ears, brother. It seems as though people like you and I are a rarity these days. I haven’t played a console game since 2012 but I harbour no ill will towards that enjoy gaming on their PS4, Xbox One or WiiU. If money wasn’t an issue, I’d have ’em all. I’d own a ultra high-end gaming PC alongside the next-gen consoles.

Sometimes I wonder if it’s a case of post-purchase rationalization. Do they feel bad about spending $1-2K on a gaming PC? Who knows.
