Microsoft has announced that World Update VI for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available for download. In order to celebrate this launch, the team has also released a new trailer that you can find below.
World Update VI adds new aerial imagery, high-resolution elevation maps, and 3D cities for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Moreover, it overhauls Frankfurt and Wuppertal in Germany, Basel in Switzerland, and Graz and Vienna in Austria. The team has also hand-crafted 100 famous locations and several new airports such as Lübeck, Stuttgart, Klagenfurt, and St. Gallen.
Not only that, but this update also includes new discovery flights, fresh landing challenges, and bush trips that showcase this beautiful region of our planet.
As always, Steam and Microsoft Store will automatically download this update the next time you launch their clients.
Enjoy!

When DirectX12?
MS Flight Simulator on Xbox already use DirectX 12 Ultimate with Direct Storage. PC version is harder because of multiple hardware configurations. Not everyone have GPU with support of DX12 Ultimate – Nvidia RTX or RDNA2.
That does NOT answer the question when is directx 12 coming out for it? No one in the world cares what a console is doing on a PC gaming website
My god what an idiotic reply. There have been DX12 games for over 5 years.
When playable framerates with no hitching?
What is your internet connection? More importantly ping times also is it playing off a fast NVMe drive?
I notice these things make a massive difference for this game
Yeah to both 🙁
