A few days ago, we informed you about the possibility of a Fable announcement during Microsoft’s Xbox Series X first-party games event. And, it’s official. Microsoft and Playground Games have just announced the next-gen Fable game.
According to the teams, players will be able to explore a land of fantastical creatures and wondrous places.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional details about this new Fable game. However, we do know that the following trailer features in-engine footage. As such, it may give you an idea of what the game will look like. This debut trailer for Fable is a CG trailer.
We expect Microsoft to reveal more details about Fable in the next few months.
Enjoy this in-engine trailer and stay tuned for more!

I remembered farting on NPC’s in Fable 3
best part of every fable game.
Best way to handle a bully. Otherwise if he sticks around, then he must enjoy the fragrance.
Try that in real life and see what happens – now that would be entertaining.
I wouldn’t try it.
Someone sent me a link to a video where this guy goes around Target stores with a fake fart sound maker and records people’s reactions and puts it on Youtube and he did it twice on this lady in a scooter shopping cart and her husband punched the guy in the face so you never know who’s going to lose their temper in a major way.
Obvious CGI and you call it in-engine?
silly you. It’s called in-engine CGI.
No it’s not.
There is no indication of this being in-engine, it’s clearly CGI from some production firm.
Finally, how long have I waited for a new Fable game.
Not in-engine
I know it’s been rumored for 1-2 years now Playground are developing Fable and now it’s been confirmed, but really, feels weird Forza Horizon devs are doing an RPG.
Wont come out for 3-5 years and will probably be garbage by then.
Please be good!
the fairy’s armpit should be hairy.
And people said the playstation 5 show was mediocre this one was even worst…whats happened to gaming?
Is it really gotten worst or im just getting old and nothing excite me anymore?
I’m with you, mate. Watched all the Microsoft presentation trailers and not one of them is even mildly interesting.
I guess we’re not the target audience anymore which is dumbfounding to me because the game industry seems to ape a lot of things from the movie industry and the latter has age ratings meaning they make movies for kids and adults.
Why not delineate games in the same way? I know the answer – making games for adults exclusively would hurt the bottom line of these corporations which is why they make games all-encompassing in terms of age demographics.
The Sony show was far more interesting, whether or not you liked the games on display, at least they were showing things that were “next-gen”, meanwhile Halo Infinite has worse graphics than the remasters/remakes in the MCC.
It’s gotten worst.
I wouldn’t like these games 10 years ago.
The only good thing come out from Microsoft
the announcement moved me… I have great memories of the Fablegames.. Fable 3 should come back to PC
also.
WDYM come back? It’s on PC, it never left.
