DotEmu announced today MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, a new frenetic action 2D beat ‘em up that will be coming to PC in 2025. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also shared the game’s debut gameplay trailer, which you can find below.
In MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, players will choose between 15 Marvel heroes to fight against the deadly Annihilation Wave threatening the galaxy.
One of the key features of the game will be the Cosmic Swap tag-team system. Players can choose two heroes for each level and switch between them instantly. They will also be able to create unique combos and powerful special attacks. Plus, each character’s abilities encourage creative team-ups and a more tactical approach to the action.
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion will feature beautiful full-color pixel art. In a way, it will remind you of the 16-bit brawlers we got for SNES and Sega Genesis.
DotEmu has also shared the PC requirements for MARVEL Cosmic Invasion. PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 or Athlon 64 X2 6400+ with 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 320, an AMD Radeon HD 6570, or an Intel HD Graphics. With this PC setup, you’ll be able to run the game at 1080p with 30FPS.
For gaming at 1080p with 60FPS, you’ll need an Intel Core i3-540 or AMD Phenom II X2 550 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 or an AMD Radeon R7 240.
Enjoy!

atleast devs opted to be realistic and their sys req correlates with the visuals presented.
Unbelievable.
Wow, on one hand it's a Marvel Vs Capcom art style… except that the characters are made into shorter kinda chibi weeb fagg*t sh*t 🤦🏻♂️
FFS, can't escape weeb influence everywhere
Yeah!!! I hate this freaking childish trend so much!!😡😡😡
They really ruin everything with that damn fag*try…
This looks absolutely pathetic.
They really hate anything that looks too manly(AND womanly) and strong. It always has to look like a freaking baby, a non-binary freak, or anything else that is just weird.
God I miss the 90s sprites…

Art style is kinda inconsistent, the bulky characters like wolverine looks chibi while Storm, CapAm do not, it's just that the dimension of the sprites are small.
Look again.
I’m not blind, the size of the characters remind me of the arcade/genesis Avengers game, small sprites but not chibi looking, and i really hate one liners that dissmiss everything we say
Alright; EVERY character is a but shorter and stubby than it should.
Any beatmup from Dotemu is an instabuy from me.
Marvelous.😑
Chibi characters again.😑
I'll have to play with my face 10 cm away from the screen to see the combos I'm doing.
Man, I sure miss Violent Storm and its giant sprites.

Kinda stupid because both are 90s games but I get what you mean.
I know, I know… Right picture is Final Fight on the Nes. 😁
Heroines with no chest volume.
