Marvel Games has just released a story trailer for its upcoming narrative-driven action-adventure game, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. This trailer will give you a sneak peek into an original story that takes players on a WWII-era adventure.
Throughout the game, players will control four characters. The two Marvel heroes will be Black Panther (who is actually T’Challa’s grandfather) and Captain America. The other two are unknown characters. These are US soldier Gabriel Jones and Nanali, a Wakandan spy.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be powered by Unreal Engine 5.4. And, according to the devs, this is in-game footage we see. So while it’s not a gameplay trailer, it’s at least good to see what the devs can achieve with UE5.4 in cut-scenes. I can also assume that the game will take advantage of all of UE5.4’s bells and whistles. So, we can expect support for both Nanite and Lumen.
Marvel Games plans to release Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra in 2025. Since this is a 2025 game, we can also assume that it will only come out on current-gen platforms.

I wonder why they are fighting in the trailer but it looks cool and different from what we have seen previously at least.

The point was that this one has 43 in there and so it has a wwju narrative to it somewhere, we didn’t really get that in batman,spidey or superman too much and it’s easier to see the themes they promote when not wrapped in flags. They have to keep using marketing hype-notism techniques to keep people locked into the narrative so we get this constant wwju stuff all over. Yeah superheros are just versions of the greek gods and in turn versions of fallen angels, they’re pagan demons repackaged by pagans.

i hope they dont make you play as the captain for most of the game in a captain america game, who cares about him, i want to see more interactions between black characters, this is the most important thing to me as a gamer and a commic books nerd. Funniest thing in Black Panther movie was that their spies in America are basically Hood Rats. It does hint at a hidden truth however (Wakanda is USA deep state and blacks are their lumpenprole agent of chaos).
