Lost Ark has been delayed until 2022, Closed Beta launches on November 4th

Smilegate RPG has just announced that Lost Ark has been delayed until 2022. According to the team, and after its Technical Alpha Testing, the game needs a lot more work so that it can launch at the high-quality bar its players deserve.

In addition, the team announced the dates for its Closed Beta phase. This Closed Beta Testing will begin on November 4th and will end on November 9th.

Those who pre-order the game will gain access to this Closed Beta Testing. Moreover, you can sign-up here for a chance to receive an invitation.

Lost Ark is a free to play MMO-ARPG using Unreal Engine 3 that came out exclusively in Korea. In this game, players will embark on an odyssey in a vast, vibrant world. Players will explore new lands, seek out lost treasures, and test yourself in thrilling action combat.

Additionally, players will define their fighting style with their class and advanced class, and customize their skills, weapons, and gear to bring their might to bear as they fight against hordes of enemies, colossal bosses, and dark forces seeking the power of the Ark.

  1. Smilegate RPG doesn’t have anything to do with this announcement. It’s all Amazon.
    Most likely delaying Lost Ark due to upcoming New World launch.

  2. How can a game thats already been out for YEARS require a delay? Surely once it’s been translated and servers created, it’s done? 3-6 months tops. This screams politics

  4. Kinda worried about another amazon beta after the New World was bricking video cards. I wont trust amazon with my hardware.

    1. Amazon’s only publishing in the west so their lumberyard-GPU-frying-garbage technology isn’t involved.

      1. Did they actually figure out what was doing it? I haven’t kept up on it, last I heard the one billon fps in the title screen was the theory, something that amazon is caple of adding during translation.
