Going Loud Studios announced today that their top-down arcade shooter, Lair of the Evildoer, has gone gold and will be released on June 17th. Although we’d expect to find this kind of games on the PC, the game will be released on XBLA for the time being.

“We’re using the latest in cutting-edge set-your-release-date technology. It gives us an unprecedented level of control over when the game comes out.”
Lair of the Evildoer will feature 30 types of monsters, procedurally generated levels and 25 varieties of weapons.
