Killing Time Resurrected feature

Killing Time: Resurrected will be released on October 17th

Nightdive Studios and Ziggurat Interactive have announced that Killing Time: Resurrected, the HD remaster of the cult-classic horror boomer shooter, will launch on October 17th. To celebrate this announcement, the teams have shared a gameplay trailer that you can find below.

Set in the early 1930s, Killing Time: Resurrected casts you as a student, studying the cryptic world of Egyptology, who finds themselves trapped in the estate of wealthy heiress Tess Conway. A ritual to bestow eternal life conducted by Ms. Conway backfires and her high-society friends vanish without a trace. It’s up to you to find and destroy the mystical Egyptian Water-Clock to undo its curse and face a legion of super(natural) horrors.

The remastered edition of Killing Time: Resurrected features toggleable high-resolution character artwork/sprites from the original 3DO and PC versions of the game. Players can also expect upscaled environmental texturing, smoother gameplay, more responsive controls, and expanded control and key-bind settings.

As with most of Nightdive’s remasters, this is a must for all old-school FPS fans. And if you haven’t played the original game, I highly recommend giving the remaster a go when it comes out.

Enjoy!

  1. These guys made 20 remakes in 10 years and they are all good.
Truly helping to make old boomer shooters stay available.

Don't know what the OG devs where smoking when they made this though.

  2. They waste time with this instead of resurrecting No One Lives Forever… Sigh…😩
    Priorities, guys!!

    1. Nah dude, NOLF is a very well know case of licensing hell, the boss said he really tried to get to it but couldn't get too far.
