Tripwire Interactive, in collaboration with Deep Silver and Iceberg Interactive, announced today that their eagerly awaited co-op sci-fi horror FPS game, Killing Floor 2, is available globally. In order to celebrate this announcement, Tripwire released a new set of screenshots that can be viewed below.
Today’s release marks the closure of Killing Floor 2’s extremely successful time in the Steam Early Access phase, selling over 1+ million units and continuing to grow its loyal community. Those who have previously purchased the Early Access version will be able to update their game to reflect the full launch content, including the brand new Survivalist perk, available today.
John Gibson, President of Tripwire Interactive, said:
“We’ve poured our heart and soul into perfecting KILLING FLOOR 2, seeing all of the community feedback from the Early Access phase was invaluable, and to see the game’s full release today is truly overwhelming. We wanted to give existing fans the visceral action that this longstanding franchise is known for, as well as offer new fans a chance to experience the brutal joy that millions of gamers already know and love. Launching KILLING FLOOR 2 for the PC, and for the first time ever on consoles via the PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 4 symbolizes the next step for us at Tripwire Interactive and we could not be more ecstatic.”
Enjoy!

The last perk is kind of boring. Why didn’t they make a class which specializes in electric and energy weapons? There even is/was electric category in the weapon shop, as far as I remember. I guess it’s because of Sony’s deadlines…
because deadline was 18th november and there was no time
paid dlc of course, like ny the cashgrab fk1 gun packs and character skins.
Cashgrab? You know those led to to those directly led to more free objective based maps for kf.
BTW, the closed (but was very easy to get the access) beta of Rising Storm 2: Vietnam started yesterday. It’s awesome.
Been awhile since a decent vietnam game came out. Is it more like COD/BF or Squad/Arma?
It’s more like Red Orchestra.
Ah nice. Only jumped into red orchestra for a quick second, was definitely more like squad/arma, unfortunately high ping server which wasn’t stable for myself. Might give it a shot. Hows the pacing of the matches?
Have no f’ing idea, never played it. xD
I just happen to know some background for some games.
Pretty useless. :p
All good. I appreciate what you could provide.
Yeah like he said, Rising Storm is basically the successor series to Red Orchestra (same developers, etc.) so if you enjoyed RO, you’ll like RS.
Not sure about pacing etc either though, sorry 😛
All good, appreciate the info.
For me it looks a little like Doom 3 🙂
it’s nothing like doom 3
Maybe you have a right but my first association was Doom 3 😛 I don’t play on this game yet so sorry about bad connection 🙂
this is horde based cartoon
Its alright, basically a recreation of KF1. I was having some good fun with it, but just like the original not much to keep you around after awhile. Hopefully they’ll make some fun maps/gamemodes through mods.
as you should.
