IMGN.PRO has announced that its exploration first-person horror game, Kholat, has been played by 3.5 million users so far. Narrated by one of the most popular British actors, Sean Bean, Kholat is an exploration adventure game with elements of horror, inspired by a true event known as the Dyatlov Pass incident.
In case you weren’t aware of, Dyatlov Pass incident was a real story that happened in winter of 1959. Nine skilled alpinists went for a trip to the northern part of Ural Mountains, which ended fatally. Bodies of expedition’s crew were found scattered on slope of Kholat Syakhl.
The game came out in 2015 and currently has Mostly Positive reviews on Steam. However, this number does not translate to 1-1 sold copies. In other words, it does not mean that the game has sold 3.5 million copies as in February 2019 Kholat was offered for free to all PC gamers for a limited time.
IMGN.PRO added:
“These numbers feel even more amazing because of the fact that it was our debut title, that helped us to establish IMGN.PRO reputation as development studio.”

Got it on free on Steam. Besides the fact that is boring as fu ck, the game runs so bad. Barely 30 stable fps on ultra… yeah. Can run DMC 5 on high-ultra on 80 fps, but can’t run this indie walking simulator. Do not buy ths game, it’s just bad, and i ain’t talking about the performance. The atmopshere is good though.
Someting someting…… Big numbers
Hey JOHN, Look like Yakuza.Kiwami.2.Press.Build-P2P Got Cracked before its Official Release. :/
This game is boring as all hell. The only worth thing about the game is the soundtrack that plays during the credits once you finish the game. One of the most beautiful soundtracks out there in a game surely.
that’s because they gave it away for free a while ago.
Played at launch, it sucks!
