NVIDIA has just revealed that Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will support DLSS 3 on PC. Additionally, the green team has shared a new PC trailer that you can find below.
Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is coming to PC in early 2024. The Complete Edition features the main game and its Burning Shores story expansion. Burning Shores pushed some amazing visuals on PS5, so we are really looking forward to it.
Alongside DLSS 3, the game will also support DLAA and NVIDIA Reflex. However, there is still no word on whether it will have any Ray Tracing effects. The first Horizon game did not also have any RT effects. However, since Nixxes will be handling this port, we might see some. Or at least I hope so.
For those wondering, no. Sony and Nixxes have not shared yet the game’s PC requirements.
And that is that. Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional details for this game. We also don’t know whether it will support FSR 3.0 alongside DLSS 3. In theory, Nixxes should be able to provide support for both of them. Otherwise, PC gamers will be able to use the “DLSS 3 to FSR 3.0” Mod.

Horizon games look fantastic, but aren’t fun to play. Sony doesn’t understand how to design gameplay, they make B-movies, overpriced “cinematic hollywood experiences” for casuals.
Sony designs expensive short-lived experiences you play once and throw into the trash can. Games the media loves, but are not good value due to their lack of replay value.
It’s not exclusive to Sony. Alan Wake 2 and Deaths Stranding are in the same vein, pretentious experiences. But Sony is the ultimate exemplification of high budget bloated titles that are all show and no substance.
The only console left with actual games and replay value, is Nintendo Switch, which has the best RPG, best platformers, best shmups, best arcade games etc. Actual games.
Not fair to compare games like Alan Wake 2 to Sony exclusives. The latter aren’t as much of a walking simulator compared to games like Alan Wake 2 or Death Stranding. The gameplay may be simple, but you do get to mash buttons and sh*t, which keeps the plebs happy.

The first game on PC was amazing i only hated the “red / orange filter in the game, making even green look almost orange. Red grass, flowers, trees, rocks even the daylight was baked in some red/orange glow.
In the end i downloaded some Reshades to remove that color.
Funny detail the studio is almost behind my house and i talked with some of the developers when they were working on the first title for the Playstation while sitting outside for a lunchbreak. One of the most friendly and relaxed guys to talk to.
