Wildlight Entertainment, a team of former Apex Legends and Titanfall developers, has revealed the PC requirements for Highguard. Highguard is a new free-to-play PvP raid shooter. So, let’s see what PC system you’ll need to run it.
In Highguard, players will ride, fight, and raid as Wardens, arcane gunslingers sent to fight for control of a mythical continent. They will battle Warden crews for possession of the Shieldbreaker, then break into and destroy the enemy base to secure territory in this all-new breed of shooter.
Like Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Highguard will require both Secure Boot & TPM 2.0.
Secure Boot is a safety feature found in most modern computers. When it’s turned on, it makes sure that only trusted programs (like Windows and important drivers) can run when your computer starts up. Its main job is to stop dangerous software, like rootkits or viruses, from loading before your system is ready. It checks that everything is safe and approved before letting it run.
TPM 2.0 is a small security chip that comes with most modern computers. It helps keep your system safe by working with your operating system to protect important data. In fact, TPM 2.0 is required to run Windows 11. So, if you’re already using Windows 11, this feature is probably turned on already.
To run Highguard, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600 with 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580. The game will also require 25GB of free disk space.
The devs recommend using an Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 12GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 2080 or an AMD RX 6650 XT.
Wildlight Entertainment plans to release Highguard on January 26th. However, since there has been radio silence since the Video Game Awards 2026, I won’t be surprised if the game gets delayed at the last minute.
