Star Wars Outlaws feature-3

Here are the official PC requirements for Star Wars Outlaws

Ubisoft has revealed the official PC system requirements for its upcoming Star Wars game, Star Wars: Outlaws. Star Wars: Outlaws will be powered by the Snowdrop Engine, so let’s see what you’ll need in order to run it.

For gaming at 1080p/Low Settings with 30fps and FSR Quality, players will need an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700K with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or an AMD RX 5600XT or an Intel Arc A750. The game will also require 65GB of free disk space, and Ubisoft suggests using an SSD.

To get 60fps at 1080p/High with DLSS/FSR Quality, you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5-10400 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.

For those who have a 1440p monitor and want to play on High settings with 60fps, they’ll need an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X or Intel Core i5-11600K with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080/NVidia GeForce RTX 4070 or an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT. And, as with the previous presets, you’ll also need to enable an upscaler (NVIDIA DLSS, Intel XeSS or AMD FSR) in quality mode.

Finally, to play Star Wars: Outlaws at 4K/Ultra with 60fps, you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D or Intel Core i7-12700K with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. And as you may have guessed, that’s not at Native 4K. Instead, you’ll have to rely on DLSS Quality or FSR Quality.

From what we know, thegame will have Ray Tracing effects and support DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction. Ubisoft and NVIDIA haven’t shared more details about these RT effects yet. Personally, I think we might get RTGI, like the one we saw in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. And it appears I’m right. According to NVIDIA’s Jacob, the game will have ray-traced shadows, reflections and RTGI.

Ubisoft will release this new Star Wars game on August 30th.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

    1. GUYS, DON'T BUY THIS HORROR. DON'T ENCOURAGE THEM TO GIVE YOU MORE OF THIS WOKE GARBAGE. UBISOFT IS A CANCER.

  1. Hopefully these are more like base minimums for each tier and not hard requirements. I remember Avatar requiring similar hardware for each tier but my friend who bought it on her 3080 was getting a lot more frames at 1440p than what the chart insisted.

    1. I know nothing of this game and I'm confused. It seems the game is tiny ?
      The above specs say the game requires 65GB of hard drive space, but the steam page says 15 GB. WTF ?

  2. Keep in min that, 1080p with DLSS Quality is 720p (or a little bit more).
    Lmao.

    1. To be fair, the Snowdrop engine makes use of software RT (similar to UE5's Lumen), which is an intensive job to compute for any GPU.

  3. Minimum Requirements
    Operating System – Windows 10, Windows 11 (64-bit versions), DirectX 12
    CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.6 GHz, Intel Core i7-8700K @ 3.70 GHz, or better

    WTF. Why is this text such an incomprehensible mess?! This is all the text should have been:

    CPU:
    Intel Core i7-8700K
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600

    GPU:
    Nvidia GTX 1660
    AMD RX 5600XT
    Intel Arc A750

    Memory:
    16 GB RAM

    Storage:
    65 GB SSD

  4. This game is going to be a huge hit …… How do I knnow this?

    Because some people AKA The Usual Suspects are really desperate for it to fail and based on past historical events (Last of Us Part 2 for instance) they are going to be disappointed by it's success

  5. So EACH of the requirements say "with upscaler set to Quality".

    So not only is it going to be woke trash with a fugly wahman, but it will also be unoptimized garbage.

    Typical Ubitrash. They need to go bankrupt

    1. Why does specifying quality mean it is unoptimised. Quality is the 2nd highest quality setting, and for DLSS often looks as good, if not better than native rendering. If they had said "performance" or "ultra performance", then you might have had a point. Otherwise, your logic does not add up.

      1. Idiot troll detected.

        Devs are clearly using upscaling as a crutch and you are making excuses for them.

        Idiot Zoomers loving their fake frames and muddy image quality. Go back to eating tide pods and watching TikTok

  6. Looks nothing impressive and woke ubish*t as always using fake resolution as a crutch for their poor optimization.

  7. i will translate it for you what that means ;

    minimum requirements ;
    80% gameplay stutter and 81% microstutter when panning the camera + crashes ( VRAM issues )

    recommended requirements ;
    75% gameplay stutter and 75% microstutter when panning the camera + less crashes ( VRAM issues )

    high requirements ;
    73% stutter and 72% micrsostutter when panning the camera + 3 out of 10 crashes ( non VRAM issues )

    Ultra requirements
    86% stutter 90% microstutter when panning around the camera + BSOD

  8. OK, fine that means I can hit 60fps x 2 = 120 fps with lossless scaling on high settings at 3080, if and when I eventually decide to pick this up.

  9. RTX 3080 for reskin of Ghost Recon Wildlands in SW for $130. So it's not just horrible looking woke overpriced mess. It's also unoptimized mess.
