Now here is something that caught me off guard. Limited Run Games has announced a new 2D retro beat ’em up He-Man game, called He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction. This comes after the highly anticipated Terminator 2D: NO FATE. So, let’s take a look at it.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction is a two-player, retro-style 2D magic fighting game. It features colorful pixel art and big, detailed characters, made to honor Eternia’s favorite heroes.
The game will have over 12 sprawling and diverse levels of non-stop action. Players will have a host of moves, abilities, and power-ups.
There is currently no ETA on when this new brawler will come out. In theory, it should be released sometime in 2026. Or at least that’s my assumption.
I personally like everything I see in this trailer. This is exactly the He-Man game I’d love to play back in the ’90s. It took 20-30 years, but hey, we finally got it.

Yup I played it and it's surprisingly pretty and good. It's developed by fans and probably the best he man game yet
what a great suprise ! I grew up with He-Man, M.A.S.K., G.I.Joe, Starcom, Battlecats, Marshall Bravestar and Transformers G1.. I had the coolest action figures from those cartoons.
It would be awesome to see modern day video games from those series ( i already have G.I.Joe and Transformers Devastation. )
