Prime Matter has announced that Gungrave G.O.R.E will release in Fall 2022. Moreover, the publisher has shared a brand new gameplay trailer that you can find below.
Gungrave G.O.R.E is a third-person action shooter in which you play a gun-wielding badass anti-hero as you mow down tons of enemies in a gory ballet of bullets. The game promises to feature a story of vengeance, love and loyalty. Additionally, it aims to combine the best that Eastern and Western game design have to offer.
This new Gungrave game promises to have more than 12 hours of gameplay in the story mode. Players will go on an epic adventure across South-East Asia, based on real-life locations with a dark, futuristic twist.

Character looks cool but i expect jank like the PS2 Gungrave game.
The game could be cutting edge for the time, but jank by today standards. Many such cases.
Gameplay/Game design is still stuck in PS2 era … for this one with shiny graphics and cinematics.
A bit early to have a definitive answer by observing half a second of game footage. The game does have an edgy style similar to the era, like the more recent Final Fantasy spin off.
