Gearbox and Counterplay Games have announced a next-generation action RPG, Godfall. Godfall is a third-person fantasy looter-slasher that focuses on melee combat. The game will be coming on the PC – via the Epic Games Store – in Holiday 2020.
In order to celebrate this announcement, Gearbox released the debut in-engine trailer for this game.
Gearbox and Counterplay Games claimed that Godfall will be a looter slasher. Unfortunately, and other than that, there is no additional information about it.

Gearbox + Epic. I mean, wow, I can’t think of a worse repellent than that. Well, aside from maybe EA + SquareEnix. It’s a toss-up.

I smell Always-Online pump’d full of GAAS. But it doesn’t even matter cause, i’m not into Epic Hostage Games.
This is exactly the type of flashy tech demo turned game that makes up for the lack of fully realized games during a new gen’s first year. This will likely be ps5’s ‘Knack’.
Looks interesting. trailers like these do nothing for me tho. gameplay is what matters to me.Seeing the Playstation 5 logo pop up at the end was cool tho
I believe that this is the first game confirmed for PS5, quite a low-key way of doingg it….. That being said, I wonder if that is the official logo
