E3 2019, the biggest gaming event, will begin in less than a month and a lot of rumours surfaced today regarding some of Microsoft’s titles. NeoGAF’s member ‘Braldryr’ is the source of this rumour, suggesting that Gears of War 5, also known as Gears 5, will be released in September 2019.
Braldryr has shared some images from various E3 invitations in order to solidify his credibility, so we are pretty sure that this rumour – alongside the other rumours we’ll be sharing shortly – are legit.
Earlier this month, a rumour surfaced suggesting that Gears 5 would be coming out in September 2019. While we did not report on this rumour, Braldryr claimed that the leak was legit and that the game is indeed scheduled for a September 2019 release.
According to Braldryr, Gears 5 will be a big focus on Microsoft’s E3 press conference as the company will showcase a full gameplay reveal/demo walkthrough, as well as its Multiplayer mode, and it will officially reveal the game’s September 2019 release date.

Lol I wish I could like the Gears series but the movement is soooooo bad in the game. I can’t enjoy a game with sh*t movement.
Its all about wall bouncing which isnt for everyone. But i think it adds to the game, kinda like strafe jumping in Quake or building in Fortnite.
I’ve played like 3 of the gears games so I know how the movement is supposed to be used (wall bounce, quick shots and etc) but it just feels so linear.

Microsoft bought the Gear of War IP from Epic Games on January 27, 2014. Microsoft has not been the best of friends with Epic Games ever since Hypocrite Sweeney criticized Microsoft for something he is now trying to do himself.

Yea and the funniest part of that comment being, Windows 10 is now on year 4 and Steam still works PERFECTLY FINE on Win10.
