SOEDESCO has announced that the futuristic arcade racer Xenon Racer will be released on March 26th. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher has released some new screenshots and a gameplay trailer. This new trailer exhibits all the seven different racing locations in the game, including four new tracks in North-America, France and China.
According to the team, each location offers multiple racing opportunities, with different tracks that can be raced in both directions.
In Xenon Racer, players will race at top speeds in electric vehicles boosted by Xenon gas, drift through the streets of cities like Tokyo and Dubai in 2030, triumph in singleplayer, split-screen & online multiplayer championships and customize your car with tons of parts to create the ultimate racing vehicle.
Enjoy!

interesting. looks good overall.
Its looking good! I just hope it’s race-y enough!
“Xenon” might not be the best name since xenon (light) in the context of cars is an outdated technology. The description of the video explains the name but that doesn’t change that everyone’s first association will be old headlamps. But the car designs look amazing, the sense of speed is there, and what little you can judge based on a fast-cut video, the driving feel resembles Burnout with easily triggered long power slides. Looks very promising.
I think the name is fast. Even if people misinterpret, which is likely, they’ll likely think they’re just trying to say the racing is fast, like light.
I’m not convinced a lot of people know what a xenon bulb is personally but I could be wrong.
I might be biased because my current car has them, and it’s older than 10 years. Back then Xenon was good. Now it’s at least third place behind LED and laser.
Looks nice but I’d prefer the cars and locations to be a bit less realistic.
Looks like a mobile game
