11 bit studios has launched the beta phase for Frostpunk 2, and revealed its PC system requirements. In addition, the team shared a gameplay deep dive trailer that you can find below.

Frostpunk 2 is a city-survival game set 30 years after an apocalyptic blizzard ravaged Earth. In this game, players will build their city on a new scale by creating entire districts with different purposes. Additionally, they’ll have to ensure that all parts of the City work in unison with each other like cogs of a giant, resource-hungry machine.

According to the PC specs, PC gamers will at least need an AMD Ryzen 5 or an Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz with 8GB of RAM. The minimum required GPUs will be AMD RX 550, NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti and INTEL ARC A310. The game will also require 30GB of free disk space, and the devs suggest using an SSD.

11 bit Studios recommends using an AMD Ryzen 7 or Intel Core i7 2.8 GHz with 16GB of RAM and an AMD RX 5700 or an NVIDIA 2060 Super RTX or an INTEL ARC A770.

As said, these PC requirements are for the ongoing beta phase. As such, the final PC requirements may be lower or even higher. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
