Frictional Games has announced that SOMA has sold 92,000+ copies across all platforms after one week. In order to celebrate it, Frictional Games has released a new trailer for SOMA that can be viewed below.
Going into more details, SOMA outperformed Amnesia: The Dark Descent, however it was not able to match the sales of Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent sold 30,000 copies in the first month (and around 20,000 the first week), while Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs sold about 120,000 copies the first week.
Enjoy!

Steamspy shows 50-60 thousands sold in Steam
They say they’d need 300K copies to start getting benefits. I hope they reach that goal with ease.

This game has a very good story. I enjoyed playing it. Go and buy it, it’s worth the money
hope next game will be groundbreaking
Shame it didn’t sell more, it really deserves it. I guess it had to do almost entirely with the marketing for the game, hard to market without spoiling anything.
Console versions must have sold poorly then, clearly not worth their effort.
