Forza Horizon 5 releases this November, gets first gameplay trailer

Microsoft and Playground Games have announced Forza Horizon 5. Forza Horizon 5 will release this November, and will support Ray Tracing effects. Moreover, the game will take place in Mexico. Below you can find the game’s first in-engine cinematic trailer, as well as a gameplay video.

In Forza Horizon 5, players will explore the vibrant and ever-evolving open-world landscapes of Mexico with limitless, fun driving action in hundreds of the world’s greatest cars.

Additionally, Forza Horizon 5 will take advantage of photogrammetry. As such, players can expect highly detailed textures for most surfaces.

    1. Forza Horizon is not a simulation, it’s casual arcade.

      Assetto Corsa is a simulation, iRacing is a simulation.

      Forza Motorsport is a good middle ground to be played with a controller, closer to simulation than arcade Horizon.

  1. It will be on Steam on day one, so no UWP trash exclusivity, the live services for the series never been mandatory for solo play and they’re perfectly playable offline, just need the Xbox app + account signed in

  2. I love the world building in Forza games, but where are all of the people?? So empty…. Did they cross the boarder into the NPC void/non-playable areas?
