    1. have you not played these games before? im assuming no as they LITERALLY ruined the FF series and turned it into casual and waifu pandering trash. Plus the story and gameplay are terrible.

Like either your a viral marketer paid to shill this game or your insane. FFx and x-2 are terrible. Its sad what pc gamers have become…. crying about day 1 buys of ps2 games that killed the franchise……… if you ever really wanted to play it you would have emulated it at 1080p/60 fps YEARS ago…………….

all these new “pc master racers” make me sick.

        1. And say what you want about the story, but the gameplay in X-2 was great. I wish they would have adopted that sort of play style for XIII and XV (even though I won’t completely judge XV until it is released, obviously…)

      1. Dude, shut the hell up. This game is amazing, and has the scores to back it up. Ff x has some of the hardest secret bosses, and the battle system rocks. Just cuz you have shirty taste doesn’t make it fact.

      2. No, YOU make me sick. Don’t you dare shove your f*cking opinions onto other people or I will rip you a new one you pathetic little troll. If you don’t like the game, no problem. Let others enjoy it.

      3. I already play it both on ps2 and emulator, and even im willing to buying it second time because i want to play official pc version, and i dont care what people said about this game, terrible or not,it just a matter of taste.Anyway, its my money and i can do anything whatever i want with it

      4. I will argue with your statement about how good FFX is ONLY! The game was remarkable!! Easily the best FF game along with VII.

  1. Fair warning: the game was locked to 30 fps even on the PS4 version, expect a locked frame rate like most of the other FF games on PC. Then again, you weebs should be used to that by now 😛

      1. Has he modded frame rate in a Final Fantasy game specifically? To my knowledge, they tie too many elements to it, so uncapping it would break the game.

        1. He did for FF XIII literally a few hours after the game launched along with unlocking the resolution.

  2. Really glad this game finally made it to the PC as I expected it would. The only problem is I got tired of waiting and eventually brought the PS3 version, never played it and sold it and then brought the PS4 version a few months after it came out.

      1. Doesn’t have anything to do with graphics. It’s mostly CGI and audio, because Final Fantasy has always been story-heavy.

  3. YES! This entry is by far the best-rated in the series yet. It’s so awesome to its HD version on PC. Would definitely consider buying as soon as possible to support Square Enix’s decision wholeheartedly.

  4. “Bullshot” and cover art cannot go together. The term “bullshot” is applied only to gameplay screenshots that are digitally enhanced. Cover art is just that, it’s ART on the box cover.

And no they cannot make the game look like the CGI because it’s still an old game in spite of refinements.

  5. FFX | X-2 HD already does look better than the emulated PS2 version. The character models and various textures have seen refinements. There’s already side-by-side comparisons of this online.

Though this PC version should be the best one because of higher resolution support and none of the visual glitches or audio oddities you might get during emulation (well, that I’ve been getting anyway).

  6. so the question is whether is worth to buy the steam version or emulate the ps2 originals because quite frankly, square has a record on awful FF pc ports

  7. When is the last time a game company announced a release 2 days before? In this age of pre-order garbage and showing teasers for games 3 years in advance, this is refreshing.

    Kudos to Square-Enix.
