Square Enix announced today that Final Fantasy IX will be coming soon on smartphones and the PC. In order to celebrate this announcement, Square Enix released a trailer for this new version of FF IX that can be viewed below.
Final Fantasy IX was one of the few FF games that remained exclusive to consoles. Well, not anymore.
Final Fantasy IX for the PC will feature high-definition graphics, newly added achievements, auto-save, high speed mode, and several game boosting features.

Literally the last good final fantasy game….. Everything after has been trash for casuals.

That’s your opinion, I enjoyed greatly both FFX and FFXII. The only ones that disappointed me were FFX-2 and FFXIII.
Not trying to be rude, but honestly if you enjoyed ffX you have terrible taste and you are everything thats wrong with modern gaming. let me guess: you a white male between ages 16-24, single, and straight.
FFX is bad in every objectionable way, and anything you do to say its good is automatically subjective because you are wrong.
I enjoyed FFXII and I’m not 16-24, single, or white. Tell your bullshit crystal ball to show you the way to an objective (not objectionable) argument that doesn’t have you coming across as spittle-flaying cheeto monster.
Also, FFXIV is excellent. Eat it.

a real reborn and heavensward are doing great. its maybe not really a FF game as we now them but its a great mmo on its own. of course i agree on the origina XIV being plain awful.
amen dude. FFX was the game that made me lost interest in this fantastic series. i will never forgive them for the removal of the 3d world map and the flying ships 😛

Oh great another poor performance port on the way from S/E on PC… I hope they have a real PC dev bring over FF7 Remake as well as FF15 on PC.
