Bethesda and Epic Games have announced that Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition is free on Epic Games Store. For the next 24 hours, PC gamers can visit its EGS page and acquire their free copy.
Fallout 3 originally came out in 2008, and it was the first game to utilize a third-person perspective. According to Electronic Entertainment Design and Research, a market research firm, the game has sold over 12.5 million units worldwide.
Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition includes the main game and all of its five game add-on packs. These additional packs are Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta.

And what kind of data would EGS collect? The games you buy? Sounds like a poorly tought out motif, social media tracks our preferences, what we share, our political beliefs, etc. and those info is feed to (bought by) advertisers to create propaganda and other nefarious deeds, all of which is missing on a online game store.
I don’t know what gamer hasn’t had this for a long time though, I wouldn’t want to register etc just for this, if it’s free here then the anonymous free version is a lot better and out for what a decade or more lol Gog also has a version but again same thing, register etc

I just login to epic store to grab the free copy and never use egs again until they give another free copy of the game lol. I own fallout 3 on steam and GOG both already for years
