2K Games has released an infographic for Turtle Rock Studios’ latest title, Evolve, revealing the game’s statistics for its first week. According to the infographic, there have been 5,989,905 games since launch, and 133,707,700 minutes have been watched on Twitch. In addition, out of all games played hunters have won 48% and monsters have won 51%. Enjoy the infographic after the jump!

Funny how I have zero interest in this game… I played a couple of matches when it was on beta and was really underwhelmed.
yea sadly it feels soulless not bad a game though but still. in Left 4 Dead they didn’t pretend there is an story and the situation spoke for itself. there was nothing more needed than that. also each of the special Zombies in Left 4 Dead like Witch had their own presence and you felt the danger with their presence. here…not really. it feels like playing Call of Duty. sadly they ditched the survival aspect.
i admit i played very little though. also bad optimization.
Kinda boring game.
WOW such impressive numbers!!! Actually not, they are utterly meaningless. This is the infographic 2K doesn’t want you to see:

They’re steadily losing at least 1.000 players each day. ROFL.

Maybe. But are you really Rolling on the floor laughing? Most likely not.
he see him rollin’… he hatin’…
LOL!
I am. In my special place.
I’ve watched that graph of quite a lot of games and yea this is a good indicator the game multiplayer will go dead before summer.
Lame game with huge VRAM usage for what graphics it has!!!
lol it uses 5gb of vram out of my 8gb vram card. I cannot see a difference from my htpc which is a 4gb vram.
What resolution and graphic settings? Because I very much doubt it uses 5gb

Thats pretty weak actually.
If three million people bought this game across all platforms that it is available on then each person would only have to play two games to reach a combined total of six million games played. With an average round length of ~ten mins though, I recon that is unlikely. So either the game sold really poorly or these numbers where tallied on launch day.
Several years ago game devs/publishers would boast the number of copies their game sold in the first couple of weeks. Now they are boasting the number of people watching other people playing their games.
This is sad.
“133,707,700 SUCH A BIG NUMBER. SO COOL, SO GOOD”
said no one ever.
Is this a Left 4 Dead mod with creatures? seems sht.
