E3 2019 public and closed gameplay demos for Cyberpunk 2077 were running on the PC

As we’ve already reported, CD Projekt RED had a public and a closed demo for Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019. However, it appears that some publications have mistakenly assumed that these demos were running on consoles instead of the PC.

As CD Projekt RED’s Marcin Momot confirmed, Cyberpunk 2077 was showcased on the PC in E3 2019.

Of course this does not surprise us as most of the E3 2019 demos were running on the PC (including Halo: Infinite which showcased what the next Xbox may be able to achieve visually).

I’m pretty sure that a lot would love to see the 50-minute gameplay demo that CD Projekt RED has prepared for those that attended this year’s E3 event, however you’ll have to wait a couple of months. From what we know, the team will most likely release that gameplay demo in August, during Gamescom 2019.

Stay tuned for more!

          1. It’s like these dolts conveniently forget that we had sodding Ripley from Alien, or Sarah Connor from Terminator.

Why do all these millennial SJW’s forget the women that were actually strong, from yesteryear?.

        1. Hey r3tard, some shaved head sjw lesbian made an ad for a game with a trans…thing with a b0ner and all gaming sites called it “Transphobic” and then she an actual caricature of a living meme sjw told them that its meant to be hated because its made by a corporation and how she is on their side and she founds it s3xy and she finds male, female and in between bodies to be s3xy.

Complete sjwinception with confusing error offence not properly calculated mess up in it.

But hey thats just me being some supreme gentleman inc3l like Elliot Rogers and you are tolaly not a clueless idiot missrepresenting me

      1. Quote

“This is the most shyt, blend, trash cover i’ve seen. A shaved white guy holding a gun on a cover”

Like get a FKIN life already who the f*k cares if it was a black guy, an asian a woman or a transgender robot.

Game looks fun asfk, story looks good and can’t wait to play this game if it makes them cry even more.

God these sjws piss me off

    1. SJWs do the same thing in response to many high profile games, movies, etc. It’s about the only way they know they’ll get noticed.

It’s all about them knowing it’ll give them the attention on Twitter they so desperately crave or, in the case of SJW garbage tier gaming sites, the ‘hot take’ pathetic clickbait they so desperately need to drive site traffic.

      1. That’s so well said. It’s exactly what i thought of it but couldn’t put those words together in such a clean manner. 🙂

      1. At E3 2014 MS show Ori and Blind Forest on PC (Steam) instead of Xbox

Some people was very angry that MS show cross platform game on PC instead of Xbox. A lot of haters said that Xbox One was too slow for “simple platform game”. But few months later in 2015 when game was released on Steam and Xbox a lot of people like that small indie game. It sells more than one million copies. Next year MS will release second part of that game called “Ori and The Will of Wisps”

        1. Well consoles are kind of slow compared to hardware available right now for pc so i can’t blame people for that. Not talking about price here

  1. Really looking forward to this game. I couldn’t get into the Witcher 3 despite trying multiple times but I’m sure as a Deus Ex fan this is more my sort of game. This is one of the only games at E3 that looked remotely interesting.

    1. I’m with you. That combat was loose, flimsy and not terribly interesting.
      Everything else was pretty decent.

    2. >This is one of the only games at E3 that looked remotely interesting.

Game was announced couple years ago and that says alot about this year’s sh*tty E3

  2. I dont know why this is news. Almost everything is played form a PC when showing DEMO’s. When they Debut the playstation 4 it was running from a PC that had a GTX 670 in it. That’s what they had them running on at all the cons. No news there really…

  3. “some publications have mistakenly assumed that these demos were running on consoles”

Can we get some names on that? For research and such…

  4. What I’m finding funny is how all the publishers’ money-hatted “journalists” are suddenly pivoting with “concern” giving these microtransaction-free and full products a rigorous probing but “can’t wait to see what [insert another ESA member GaaS scam] has in store.” Some click baiters and might as well be publisher employees.

Regardless of art design choices this is a gd full product for a flat price and MOST welcome in the industry.

  5. Hopefully we will know the specs of the PC it is running on this year. Based on last year we should find out sometime in the next week.
