Techland has revealed the official PC system requirements for Dying Light 2: Stay Human. According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-9100 or AMD Ryzen 3 2300X with 8GB of RAM and 60GB of free hard-disk space.
For gaming at 1080p/30fps/Low Details, Techland suggests using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560. For gaming at 1080p/60fps/High Details, the team suggests using an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56.
As we’ve already reported, Dying Light 2 will support Ray Tracing effects. Techland will be using Ray Tracing in order to enhance the game’s reflections, global illumination and shadows. And, from the looks of it, these RT effects will be quite demanding.
For gaming at 1080p/60fps/Ray Tracing High, Techland recommends using an NVIDIA RTX3080. Yeap, you read that right. The might NVIDIA RTX3080 is recommended for 1080p gaming. My guess is that these requirements are without DLSS, meaning that performance will increase significantly once you enable it. As such, most RTX3080 should be able to get a smooth experience at 1440p with DLSS.
Dying Light 2 releases in February 2022. Below you can find its full PC system requirements.

Good. We need some decent high end games. My 3080 is ready!
Perfect, i have a RTX 3080 and i play at 1080p
…………
game has characters equal to PS360 era mo-cap.
…the hell does it need so much power?
Give me a game that looks better than rdr2 with these requirements and I’ll shut up. But this looks worse and runs worse? No thanks
Agreed.
LOL! Imagine playing 1080p for a 4K card. What are they smoking? I’ll wait for user videos with 3090s and see how far they can push the image settings at 4K.
This whole unoptimized games and making them need the highest of hardware for mediocre performance needs to stop.
Unoptimized games and massively inflated hardware prices. We’re in a pc gaming dark age.
PC gamings future sure looks bleak right now. Regular people have basically been priced out of this market.
Steam stats show like 90% of players are not only 2 generations behind but using low end cards from even back then. Then you see Nvidia posting record sales, like we all know where all that inventory is going and it sure isnt gaming.
yep. Still using my gtx 1070 ti. The only game that was demanding for me to upgrade is AC valhalla and I am still in no rush to play that.
What’s worse is NVIDIA could put a hard stop to mining on their cards but aren’t. Instead, they are releasing mining cards that completely lock gamers out.
This is beyond your typical corporate greed, it’s a flat out Fck you to the world.
Agreed!

And of course really uninspired AAA games to boot.
Where are you getting unoptimised from? RT has a huge impact e.g. CP2077, which looked fantastic with everything maxed.
Any kind of game or software that asks for more performance thus obliging you in a way to buy the latest and most powerful hardware is a scheme between companies and of course unoptimized.
Bollox. It’s about time we get a title that makes use of current gen rather than more of the console crap we have had to put up with.
Says the guy that had a h@rd on for Cyberpunk. Btch please
Bollox. It’s about time we get a title that makes use of current gen rather than more of the console crap we have had to put up with.
what about 4k! i dont see system requirements fro 4k lol!
a pleasant surprise for win7 users
No requirements for 1440p and 4K is worrisome and kinda telling. Even with an obvious visual downgrade from 2018-2019 trailers it still need a powerhouse of a PC. What gives?
Did CDPR lend some of their developers with broken fingers to Techland?
So the “RTX 3060/RX 6600XT are great cards for 1080p gaming” idea goes out the window, right?
So entry fee is 1050Ti but 3080 only gets you 1080p @ 60 with RT high?
Funny Cyberpunk listed 3070 for 1440p with RT high.
So I guess, Techland is being realistic , here?
I smell faceplant all over…
Clownfield 2042 is real.
And has Steam page :

Requiring an RTX card for none-RTX gameplay, LMAO
who the hell does specs for 30fps… This is PC!! Not PS4. When I see specs like this I know the game is going to be released as an unoptimized mess. Def not picking this game up at release. The last game that had absurd recommended specs like this was The Medium and it def ran like s##t
I agree with many other comments here regarding the fact that the game looks rather underwhelming, yet demands this level of GPU horsepower. Cyberpunk 2077, which was also poorly optimized, had really great graphics at max settings and somehow justified its high GPU requirements.
Looks like I’ll have to play on potato settings if I decide to get it. That sucks balls.
I feel that a lot of that extreme eye candy is just for niche players with various reasons to put that much cost into it. Turn rt off and dial down a few settings and you’re good to go at 60fps+/1080/2k with a modern mid range card which is what a huge chunk of hobby gamers have anyways. Recommending the latest top level card for max settings should be for 4k/60 now though and PC should always have 60fps minimum for recommends. Just marketing to under recommend really, who plays at 30fps who would buy such a huge heavy game on pc? Yeah console crap is where this comes from.
YEEEEEES… is run in WINDOWS 7 ??
good morning sirs, indians are good coders sir I swear on shiva.
sir please don’t blame this on us benchod, we making good codings sir. have a nice day
Why are they recommending a beast gpu meant for 1440p and 4K to run their crappy looking game at 1080p?
