Dying Light 2 new feature

Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition is free to play on Steam until February 26th

Techland has announced that Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition is free to play on Steam this weekend. From now until February 26th, PC gamers can visit the game’s Steam store page, and download and play it.

Do note that this is a free to play offer. It’s not a “free to keep” offer. This means that you’ll only be able to play the game for free during the weekend. After that period, you’ll have to purchase it. Naturally, you’ll be able to transfer your progress once – and if – you buy it.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition features the main game and its latest story DLC. The new edition contains all the best and past updates that add firearms, board quests, Survivor Missions and much more.

Those interested can download the game from this link. Below you can also find a new trailer for the Reloaded Edition.

To be honest, I’m not a big fan of DL2. Although I loved the first game, its sequel never really clicked for me. Still, I highly recommend downloading and trying it. After all, this is a free trial.

Have fun!

  1. Not too bad if you’ve never played this, could get it done if you played marathon style. It’s a good game but yeah I played it bunch finished and there wasn’t much more I was interested in, no extra hook like DL1 has and it’s excellent DLC which this has a glorified battle arena with a thin story wrapped around it.
Too many challenges all over and just not as scary or vital and tight as DL1. They frankly would have done better if they focused on another venue right after the outbreak when it gets there for the emergency panic factor that 1 has to it, not years later and the nonsensical living on top of buildings where full size trees somehow grow. No effort to mass mow down these walking dead after that long? or to at least high fence them into pens? strange story choices and logic.

    1. Yea, i had fun for one playthrough.
After that its just boredom since nothing new happens in New Game+.
I wish loot and combat was better.

      1. I played this before all these patches years later so idk maybe it’s better now with guns and I’ve heard scarier nights etc meaning they actually looked at what made DL1 a classic vs. shyster gaas type games. Still has nonsense stuff like circus colors, pointless infighting, stupid roof living, etc

  2. For anyone wondering, the game is pretty solid now. And it’s a Polish game so focus is on gameplay and not on forced politics. Techland really understood what fans wanted after release. So give it a try if you loved original game.

    1. There is some woke sh*t.
Lawan in previews and older builds was white blonde, now is ugly brown girl with face from Rosario Dawson.
A mix of 20’s girl with 44 old women looks bad.

    2. One can focus on more than one thing. Think about it this way: Is this game built primarily for an American audience? If yes, then there will be forced politics, just like the first game had, being Polish or japanese have no relevance.

    3. yeah many of us played it when it came out, like cp77, these devs seem to take years to get their games made, so you pay full price for a prototype, finish it and then they add the better parts of the game in 2-3 years later wtf eye patching or just waiting for drastic sale only way to play sensibly.

  3. The original was so unpleasant to play. When I clear out an area and the enemies almost immediately respawn then it bugs me. It always felt like a chore to hack you way through a sea of zombies in that game, especially when you had to do it again and again in the same spot. Kill all the zombies in an area, stop for two seconds, and they all start respawning around you. They didn’t even bother to make the zombies walk in from other areas or crawl out of buildings and rubble, they just literally spawn right in front of you.

Since it’s free I’ll give the sequel a try, but if it has no way to turn off the TAA then I’m just going to uninstall it. I won’t put up with mandatory temporal vaseline even in a free game.

    1. it’s more of a chase parkour thing, you’re not supposed to hang around and look with zombies all over. No I saw them crawling out from places never noticed just spawning out of nowhere ymmv I guess. They swarm to you still not sure the logic there either, what is it pheromones or a type of howl that alerts them? lol

      1. Of course, but they could have handled the zombies respawning much better than they did. And they shouldn’t have had them respawn so quickly. If you clear out a small area of zombies, they shouldn’t respawn in a few seconds.

    2. There’s a workaround to disable TAA in the sequel (you have to create a mod to do it), but the game freezes when rebinding keys at the main menu. I was way too tired at the time to give a sh*t, so I uninstalled it.

    1. tranee, doing the as above so below arm/han, has the choker to hide the shaved trachea, mask face meaning surgery, implants, fat redistro, man hands, it’s in the real world it’s going to be in their games has been for a long time they’re just hiding it less now in the lgbtbxyzase times, if it’s normalized and accepted social herd will enforce it on everyone, see covid masks etc

    1. Patches + Firearms update + Co-op missions + Bloody Ties DLC

If you bought the standard edition you can upgrade to Reloaded for free.

  4. Where are those who say that Sony has only cinematic movie games?
Where God of war 2018 had roughly 3h of cinematics of total 25/30h and was considered a movie, but Dying Light 2 has over 5h55min for the same amount of time it takes to finish it(20/30h).
How i know this well, you can go on you tube and search for “title of game”movie example: The last of us 2 movie, and it gives you some videos with only cutscenes edited like a movie or even longer videos with some minor gameplay in it.
I also used Google to see how long it takes to beat some games vs how much cinematics are in them.
All games except some indies have more or less than 2h of cinematics, all of them, not only Sony ones.
How about Read Dead Redemption 2 or GTAV they both have between 3h to 5h of cinematic?
All games since 2001 or before replaced long text at intro with cinematics. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/945a0f56459516f82abaadf26cf05e5d8739f073ffdd24c80f117d88176f6163.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/6bd141f1b429652ab3f85ecc3191ca229f230bd5535c36a8e4bd211db76d4b58.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/46cac807392ae5b7cf2d47aaa0fdf6382e69be893db9debc4c4157a61103f983.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/494891448afd1b545fba622f40add6530839c007cb75b720419589c911eb8976.jpg
Bonus: Warcraft 3 had over 4h and half of cinematics, more than Tlou2 and God of war 2018 and it was not considered a movie game.

  5. Not even for free. FUQ YOU Techland. You are even more fuq’d than the published you use to work for. Now we know it ain’t always the case of the published pulling the strings. The devs are just as malicious and greedy. But good luck explaining that to the fan fuqs that are sicke in the Xbox 360 era. You can go Fuq yourself too IOI interactive, with your always one BS.
