Modder ‘artur07305’ has released a new version of the DLSS Enabler Tool. This latest version of DLSS Enabler can simulate DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation in any DX12 GPU to any DX12 game. As such, those with older GPUs can use it to boost their performance in pretty much every DX12 game.
For those who did not know, NVIDIA has locked DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen to its RTX-50 series GPUs. However, with this tool, you can now use DLSS 4 MFG to any DX12 GPU.
Naturally, DLSS 4 MFG will not look as good as it does on AMD’s GPUs or on older NVIDIA GPUs. Basically, the mod simulates DLSS 4 MFG. Still, this is something that some PC gamers can use on their low-tier GPUs to get a smoother gaming experience.
To showcase the benefits of this new version of DLSS Enabler, YouTube’s ‘GAMESMARK’ shared the following video. In the video, we get to see Cyberpunk 2077 running at 1080p/Ultra Settings on an NVIDIA GTX 1060. With Intel XeSS Balanced and DLSS 4 Frame Gen, the game runs with 60FPS. By enabling DLSS 4 MFG X3, the game jumps to 77FPS. And then, with MFG X4, he got to 100FPS. And that’s on an NVIDIA GTX 1060.
And look, I don’t recommend using DLSS 4 MFG X4 with a base framerate of 24FPS. However, if you own a really old GPU, this tool may help you run a lot of modern games. So, it’s up to you whether you want to use it or not.
The latest version of DLSS Enabler also comes with Adaptive Frame Generation. This will enable Frame Gen when your FPS drops under a certain value. Once your framerate is above the value you set, the tool will disable Frame Gen.
As I said, this tool allows you to use DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen on any DX12 GPU. Whether you have an AMD or Intel GPU, you will be able to enable it. However, there is one condition for this to work. A game must at least support DLSS 3 Frame Gen so that you can enable/force DLSS 4 MFG. If it doesn’t, you won’t be able to enable it.
All in all, this is something that may please a lot of PC gamers. I haven’t tested it on an AMD GPU to compare it with AFMF 2.1. But, in theory, DLSS Enabler should provide better results than AFMF.
From what I know, NVIDIA does not plan to enable DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen on any older NVIDIA GPU. Then again, with this tool, there is no need for something like that. Even if NVIDIA enabled it, I don’t believe it would optimize it to look better than what we get with DLSS Enabler.

Have fun!
