Destiny PC Incoming? Bungie Is Looking For A PC Compatibility Tester

It appears that Bungie is gearing up for a PC game. According to this recent job listing, Bungie is looking for a PC Compatibility Tester for a new project. The candidate must  be willing to execute complicated regression scenarios using multiple PC configurations, must have deep knowledge of PC gaming hardware, as well as previous experience working on a shipped PC title.

From what we know so far, Bungie is only working on Destiny, therefore it is safe to assume that this game will be coming shortly to our platform. That, or Bungie is secretly developing a new PC game.

As the job listing reads, the PC Compatibility Tester will evaluate PC hardware-specific features and ensure various systems work together across multiple PC configurations to provide a great experience.

Activision and Bungie has not revealed anything yet about Destiny coming to the PC, other than that they would love to bring it to our platform.

Kudos to our reader ‘Inhuman0’ for informing us!

    1. Well to be 100% fair…we kinda begged for it before it’s release…(only) after that, after everyone realized it was just a huge (500$ mil. budget) over-hyped pile of console trash, all interest was lost.

  1. Was upset initially whenever it wasn’t coming to pc, but once I realized that it was over hyped AAA garbage, I lost interest.

  2. If true, thanks for Beta testing for us, console gamers. Otherwise no big loss, the game was a monumental dissapointment, its just a average MMOFPS with great graphics.

  3. Anything but Destiny, please! I’d rather have a Myth 1 & 2 remaster, kind similar to what Gearbox did with Homeworld..

  4. Tried the game on PS3 a while back and the game “is similar” to Borderlands in the way the maps are (yet smaller and not as good) but the gameplay is crap and generic as well as the repetitive missions. Guns don’t feel bad though but the punch is not quite there.

It tries to be a MMO but the only thing that has is the grinding. Is not like Borderlands in where you play and get a lot of new things all the time…Here they want for you to replay missions over and over to see IF you are getting the better gear or not at the end of the map.

This game should be Free to Play.

  5. they woulda sold a lot more on PC if they would released it at launch with consoles

now we all know the game is CRAP and not worth buying

  6. Yes, but some of Us like to play and gain. I’m 4 example kind of gamer who don’t pay for DLC’s original price, sometimes better to wait for GotY Ed, but sometimes (in BF3, BF4, TitanFall etc.) i get Season Pass -> to just play more content, pure fun, and always waiting for succesfull Promo -33% to -75% off original price. Buy BF4 + SP for $30 (25Eu ) thats succefull Hunt for Me. Always you’ll have to be Cool not Hot Head. Remeber One Fact that Game in it’s original Price always is not worth it eg. $60 for Game? Pff Get Out Of Here, gimme for $20 and I will consider 😉
Never buying pre-orders pff. Many of the games is just 12-20h and for $60? no THX
And i’m never gets Bored 🙂 Just Playing Games i like.

    1. Depends on the game fella. Some games are worth more than $60 while others are worth no more than $5 or $10. Depends on the amount and quality of content. Witcher 3? Worth $100 imo.

  7. Whoever does this better be an absolute stickler for K+M feeling and the ability to rebind keys. Witcher 3 is still a huge let down in my eyes.

I wouldn’t consider a game PC compatible if the controls are wonky.
