The writer of the original Dead Space, Antony Johnston, has recently posted a tweet. According to the tweet he is working on a big video game for almost two years now. This new title will be announced on the PS5 launch event.
He also replied to another tweet, saying that we’ll be playing as a character who is having a really bad time. When Necromorphs rush to eat your face in space, it’s also considered a bad day, and Isaac had plenty of those.
As some of you know, I’ve been working on a big videogame for almost 2 years now.
Dead Space was loved by many, it was dark, creepy, scary and gory. All the right tools to make a good survival horror game. Dead Space was basically Resident Evil in space, in a good way.
Hint: you play a character having a really bad time.
According to industry insiders, this isn’t a new Dead Space game. While it would be awesome to see another Dead Space title, it’s most likely not happening. This is probably something else, something completely different. However, I highly doubt it will be anything other than something scary.

I’ll openly admitting to completely forgoing what you brought to my attention, I’ll let disappointment set in once its officially confirmed.
Loved all the Dead Space games, sadly I doubt there will be a sequel to the game…
I know it’s unlikely but I would love a new Dead Space game but not like DS3 which was junk imo.
Of all the linear games that I’ve hated over the years, the dead space series was one that I was able to play from start to finish. I’m the type of gamer that’ll pick up a game and be bored before making it even mid way.
Seriously I watched all the xboxlive mini games and storyboards that came with them in prep for Dead Space 2, and that opening scene was absolutely incredible. Needless to say this is out of the ordinary for me for most franchises and the like.
So which game it is? I Dont remember any horror games during the event

I wouldn’t worry about Dead Space 4. It won’t happen. Negative Atmosphere, on the other hand, will.
