Acid Wizard Studio (a team of 3 people from Poland) has released a pre-alpha gameplay trailer for its upcoming title, Darkwood. According to the team, Darkwood is a top-down, oldschool survival horror set in a procedurally generated, open world, and features RPG and roguelike elements, with intense combat and a eerie atmosphere. Darkwood features a hardcore gameplay as it does not provide hand holding, tooltips or linear paths. Players will have to think, learn and adapt in order to survive. The game also comes with permadeath, meaning that if you die, your saved games will get deleted and you will have to start over. It looks pretty cool, so make sure to watch the trailer below.
