Cyberpunk 2077 new

Cyberpunk 2077 developer: “I would say that the game is pretty different to what we showed last year”

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games and last year, CD Projekt RED released an extensive gameplay video. That video was based on the E3 2018 build and according to Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, Quest Director of Cyberpunk 2077, the game is pretty different to that demo.

Now before continuing, know that the fundamental elements have not changed at all. This is still a first-person RPG with an open-world area, will be a narrative-driven role-playing game, will offer multiple ways to complete missions, and will be set in the universe of the classic pen & paper RPG system, Cyberpunk 2020.

Moreover, the fact that the game is different to what CD Projekt RED showed last year is not a bad thing. This could easily mean that the game is shaping up to be even more impressive than its E3 2018 build.

Tomaszkiewicz claimed CD Projekt RED is working on a lot of stuff that it didn’t show yet, and there is now a more clear picture of what the game is all about. As such, some of the E3 2018 missions may not be similar to what was shown, and there could be some graphical or visual differences as the E3 2018 demo was just a small fraction of the actual game.

As Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz told AreaJugones:

“We are constantly polishing and thinking how to make the game more interesting, how to make the gameplay more cool and, well, the demo shown last year was only a small fragment of the actual game. There wasn’t a clear picture of how the game fits into an open world or how it fits into a larger image of the game. So, there are many stuff that we didn’t show yet, there are many things that we are still working on. I would say that the game is pretty different to what we shown last year but there are many details that we are currently working on.”

Speaking about Cyberpunk 2077’s gameplay, Tomaszkiewicz said:

“I would say that Cyberpunk 2077 is an open world game with a strong narrative component set in a dark future. It is an RPG with decisions and consequences where everything you do matters. Well, I do not know how much more I can put in the box, it depends on the source we use. I would say that there are many ways to play in terms of gameplay and it offers a wide variety of options depending on how you want to play the title and allows you to enjoy the way you want to play. I think that’s how I would describe the title.”

“I would like to make a reference to one of the previous questions and that is that our game is mainly an RPG, then the combat in the first person is something added to this genre. In this way, the gameplay in Cyberpunk offers a variety of ways to complete the missions and I think this is the biggest difference because it not only matters the shooter side, but also how to incorporate this aspect in your way of playing through the title. And we have a good amount of mechanics that are based on this concept which we have not yet shown, so stay tuned.

In addition to this we are working on bringing good and fun combat mechanics and I think we have a wide range of weapons that will make our game stand out. I do not know if you remember in the previous demo that there were smart rifles and this is something that I have not seen much in the current FPS. Also, I think that in terms of gameplay we have some ideas and things that are not ready yet and that we are trying to implement, because they will be very good.”

Regarding the game’s shooting mechanics, Tomaszkiewicz claimed that they will be somewhere between arcade and sim.

“I think it would be something in between, because it is an RPG and we have statistics, damage and so on. And as you know, enemies also have stats, then it is not super realistic like a World War II title where a shot means to be dead, but I would say that it does not reach the level of arcade like the examples you have described (In this case they were Borderlands and Bulletstorm). Here you still need to cover yourself, then you can not just jump and avoid enemies. Although there are ways to play the title in this way using for example the melee weapon we saw last year, the katana. And if you move in this direction you will achieve a more arcade style for your character. In short, I would say it would be something in between.”

    1. Years apart? It’s so obvious with this teasing that we’re gonna get late 2019/ early 2020.
It doesn’t look for me like yEaRs aPaRt

      1. Says who? It has been already nearly a year since E3 and there is no way in hell the game will go to complete from that state shown in the demo. It was the only barely playable little section. They’ve just hired more quest designers for the side quests. It’ll take approximately 2 more year, but one more for sure. So they will add new content, then optimize it, then test it. Do you think this can be done in this little time? Pretty sure not. Late 2019 is just wet dreams. Bookmark this page and come back here after E3 and send me a kiss for I know I am right.

    1. Yup, i haven’t seen anything that communicated “fun” to me…
To me it feels like another very generic game… “cool dude, look at how mature we are, boobs, dolls, super gangsta machos, listen to this dialog it’s very important, shoot dudes and stuff, been there done that”

      1. well its better than most AAA open world or rpg trash that have come out lately but that says alot about how bad those games have been. andromeda, anthem fallout 76, you get the point.

        1. We really don’t know that. We haven’t saw any actual person playing the game, just super scripted set pieces. We have a lot to learn about this game. We really haven’t had a real “first look” yet.
I’m personally very skeptical at this point.

      2. If it looks generic, in era where Open world RPG game is as frequent as water on Sun…
        …I’m calling your comment BS

        1. Come on, everything is now open world with more or less rpg elements, it’s not that special… Yeah, not everything is a straight up rpg but still…

  1. What they showed last year wasn’t anything impressive imo. Idk why people why make are pretending that what they showed was crazy

    1. Which is why it would be twice as disappointing if the release version were not even up to the August 2018 demo quality.

    2. It wasn’t terrible but people really need to stop hyping it. As of right now nothing they showed I haven’t seen before. Granted I still wanna play it

        1. Because if people keep hyping it up there is a very good chance it won’t live up to it.

Now being interested in it is fine but countless games have been hyped up in the past and we’re sh*t

      1. He’s hoping that last year’s showing wasn’t all smoke, mirrors and lies (like anthem).
Hopefully the game lives up to expectations and isn’t just some downgraded generic game.

      2. Cmon Hilter, you gotta be sharper than that if you plan on bringing the entire world to its knees.

    1. I want to believe ! But we have to be ready for some disappointments i for one are the most afraid of driving, even some racing games get it so wrong some times. And i don’t mean it hast to be arcade or realistic, but responsive and fun.

      1. The thing about using terms like “fun” is its very subjective. Like as somebody whos into drifting for me and most people that i hang out with static handling in games like Sleeping Dogs is the opposite of “fun”.

        1. Grand theft auto is possibly one game that usually gets Handling right in open world game. At least for me 🙂

          1. Sure, why do you think so many people play Fortnite?
Weak bait, try harder. I swear, this website has the saddest trolls on the internet.

          1. i have never trolled about witcher 3, it’s such an overrated boring game. combat boils down to spamming attack button and dodge button one after another. sounds that swords make are the most unappealing sounds that i have ever heard in any video game beside japanese games. animations are just awful, textures look like plastic, game is full of bugs and everyone likes to talk your ear off.
witcher 2 at least had a great atmosphere, a great soundtrack and a satisfying combat. they couldn’t even get something like riding a horse in witcher 3 right, it feels awful to ride that thing.

          1. it seems like your comprehension skills are lower than a newborn koala which only proves that i was right about you having sub 60 iq.

          2. do you want me to prove you’re dumb?would you change your username to dagoat’s inferior servant who has 60 iq?

          3. it is mind blowing to me how low iq brains work. can you walk us through how you got :
” so if that isnt your opinion, are you a sheep copying what someone else says lol. fool”, out of my comment?

    1. sorry dude just becuz you suck at the game doesnt make it bad. The combat is much improved over 2, and the graphics as of 2015 destroyed most games being an open world RPG not a linear shooter like BF which only needs to display assets for the current sequence you are in. Even today the graphics are amazing you must be playing on a toaster

      1. i beat that game on highest difficulty without dying most of the game. sounds like you’re a 60 iq inbred.

      2. i beat that game on highest difficulty without dying most of the game. sounds like you’re a 60 iq inbred.

  2. Incoming downgrade/dumbing down, watch CDProjekt drones screech and cry in defense of their trophy company with barely any of the original devs or any of the PC focus anymore.

    1. It is, I try to not have extremely high or unreasonable expectations about commercial products so I rarely ever get dissapointed.
Being level headed about a company that sold itself out to investors 10 years ago and dowgraded their last game will surely help me to stay happy regardless if the game is good or not and will make me judge it objectively while avoiding any kind of emotion fueled tribalist behaviour.

If its good I’ll enjoy it, if it’s not there’s plenty of other good games out there.

      1. What magic?
A game is either entertaining or not, and that heavily depends on your own standarts.

        1. He probably thinks something ethereal exists, like that grey-haired grandpa in the sky that created all living. You know like all those other cultists that waged wars in the name of their deity. Trying to argue something logical and reasonable with people like this is an exercise in futility.

  3. If you go by the former experience (The Witcher 3 E3 2014 demo and 2015 release version) than this does not bode well for gamers at all. Cut down features, significantly decreased visual fidelity etc. Here’s to CDPR proving us wrong but don’t get your hopes up.

      1. Many, for instance all potions were visible on Geralt and also Geralt could automatically change his stance depending on the monster he was going to fight. Let’s just hope they will not mess this up.

      2. Many, for instance all potions were visible on Geralt and also Geralt could automatically change his stance depending on the monster he was going to fight. Let’s just hope they will not mess this up.

        1. You mean visible in his face being on drugs? About stances, woudn’t that take away choice if it was automatic?

          1. No that’s already in the game; I am talking about the potions, just like the first one. You could see the equipped potions on Geralt’s armor. Now regarding stances, you rarely fight different kind of monsters at the same time. I imagine only the animations would be different not the actual gameplay but still it would look cooler than it is now imho.

      3. they even dumbed down something as simple as hud. if you watch early trailers that came out, your aard skill could shatter glasses. the game we got is not even a shadow of what we were going to get.

        1. I think it’s like GTA4 vs GTA5: GTA4 have more attention to detail, but it’s the kind of attention to detail that only 5% of your player base notices, so they just don’t bother (also consoles, but that stop being an excuse when you release it on PC and current gen consoles)

    1. ya but they did explain that situation and its what a lot of devs fell for. they thought the consoles would be more powerful and expected a lot from those pos machines that hold pc gaming back in terms of graphical fidelity, happened with watch dogs, and unity. ac unity a prime example of a vision that was cut in half because of consoles not being able to run it. so cdpr probably fell for that sh*t and well, made their trailer on PC and then they had to downgrade. rela question is, this parity bulls**t needs to stop, so why downgrade pc version?

      1. “I don’t think parity BS will ever stop (for whatever reason publishers keep insisting on it, even if it doesn’t make any sense).”

In some cases the reason is money so they don’t release a prettier game on another platform.

    2. I don’t think cutted features would make
      Witcher 3 lot better.
We shouldn’t behave like this salty people from May 2015

      1. Witcher 3 is already bloated enough as it is, and i don’t say the term bloated as a pejorative (because a 60 hour games will end up being annoying when you want to move on)

      1. Cut features are part and parcel of game development (see also Half-life duology, STALKER, Metal Gear series specially MGSV, etc). It’s up for the modders to try and restore content like so many STALKER modders

        1. No modder can restore those in-depth game mechanics that were left on the cutting room floor. Especially with a joke of a modding tool that is Witcher 3 ModTools.

          1. Sad but not surprising. Remember Resident Evil 1.5? that was an almost full game cut off and scrapped. things happen.

    3. Yeah because the witcher 3 looked terrible at launch. So tired of all the crying babies on the net.

      1. It’s geared towards current gen consoles. Although that doesn’t mean they won’t double dip like Rockstar did.

  4. I’m not buying this BS. The game looks awesome but I know better than to believe devs. What we saw is what we’ll get, no more no less.

Frankly we should thank them they don’t pull those alpha footages (its not ready yet) BS with us. An alpha is always a final they don’t change sh*t!

    1. Judge a person by not what he says but by what he does. What happens now is hyping up the game further no matter what quality it is.

    1. “The Witcher 3 changed my life”
You’re on the level of the sad people who say the same about The Last of Us or God of War

  5. It’s in development. No one should think that what we were shown about the game or what was said by CDPR in the past is written in stone.

  6. They haven’t burned their points with me, so I am expecting a solid game at the very least – with whatever they show.

Other AAA, I am more justifiably pessimistic as soon as lies leave their filthy face holes.

  7. im curious as to why they went fps rather than mass effect style. clearly people loved mass effect (up until 3 i dont count andromeda for obvious reasons) despite its shortcomings. So clearly there is a market there and a strong demand with basically 0 supply.

For me this is the gamble.

Kowtowing to people who don’t play their (or any) games is another alarm bell. If i get a drop down list with 100 genders or i start seeing crap that does not belong in a game i won’t even pirate. For sure i;ll wait a few days if there are no major issues for concern it is full price for me and not the high seas since CDPR deserve it.

The good thing is that slowly but surely some developers especially indies but with a slightly higher budget are realizing what can ruin a game and are steering clear of it. Well there is the whole fuss with epic games which is understandable but personally what bothers me most with epic is the lack of 3rd party re-sellers where you can usually get an amazing deal. But i will pull the trigger on a few of their upcoming since the price is reasonable and see what will happen in the future. Lack of reviews really grinds my gears but youtube is full of those so its ok.

    1. i really think you did not understand what i said. I personally don’t mind the FPS and i will give it a go. Not the biggest COD guy but if the gameplay and story is good its fine. They are doing a Deus Ex if anything (mixing rpg and fps) which is fine and til today the original Deus Ex is a favorite of many people.

The kowtowing was not for the type of game but rather for stupid things like gender selection and sjw horse manure.

If anything i merely mentioned my dismay at the lack of good 3rd person sci-fi games. But as i said lots of people like Deus Ex myself included so if they make a good game like they can and keep the politics where they belong (away) they will have yet another success in their hands.

    1. open world cyberpunk games with explorable buildings with multiple floors, high quality sideuqests that can be solved in multiple ways, just a fps eh?

  8. Interesting interview. The comment of the game featuring “a variety of ways to complete the missions” perhaps intrigued me the most. Makes me wonder if they’ve taken inspiration from the likes of Metal Gear Solid V and Sniper Elite 4.

Meanwhile, over at Polygon the chief concern is whether “players will have complete control over their gender” and over at the hateful Reeeesetera they’re doubtlessly desperate to dox a second CDPR employee for not marching in lock-step with their poisonous SJW ideology…

      1. Yep, you ain’t lying. A bunch of SJW libtard snowflakes that make everything a/b being politically correct.. Oh, and I forgot to include “feminist” agenda, you can’t leave that out, lmao.

      2. Yep, you ain’t lying. A bunch of SJW libtard snowflakes that make everything a/b being politically correct.. Oh, and I forgot to include “feminist” agenda, you can’t leave that out, lmao.

    1. I recall one of the employee’s during an interview saying that they took inspirations from games like Prey 2017 and Deus Ex (The original one.)

      1. Emperor Trump going to ruin the MISERABLE Lives of libslimes for another 4 years, its going to be AMAZING!

        1. Not that amounts to much, when there is valid reasons to oppose Trump but they will focus on obvious bullshit, because controlled parties gonna make their bs theater.

      1. By gender, he means transexual, ghey and all that stuff. I suppose it is a choice, but a choice where the devs will be constrained because of all the toxicity that comes with this drivel(LGBT’s have to be mary sues because of PC constraints), so i prefer if the devs prioritizes other kinds of choices.

        1. Your response doesn’t make sense to me.

Are you trying to say that letting people create gay characters in a Cyberpunk RPG is somehow constraining?

          1. There is no place for under 3% representation in video games.
LGBTQWTFLOL already OVER represented in video games, movies and TV being less then 3% of population.
But he wasn’t talking about them but about NEW age BS like pronouns like xhe/xhim and all that last 3 years BS invented by deranged extreme leftists aka Millennials.

          2. You lost me at your first sentence.
“There’s no place for under 3% representation in video games”
Like, what the f*k? Should all video game characters be religious, with low or middle income?

GTFO with your insane illogical wannabe gatekeeping bullshit.

You literally advocated for only aiming all video games at the lowest common denominator audience, at the exclusion of others.

          3. He phrased it poorly, i think he is just mad that representation rackets are hijacking mainstream entertainment because it is such an easy sell, thanks to brand recognition. Anyone is free (up to a certain point) to make products that caters exclusively to 3% folks (and probably go bankrupt in the process)

          4. I’m not sure if this os meant as a huge dog whistle, but it sure reads like one.

I’ve yet to see a singular example of someone wanting better representation being a “racket”
On the point of 3% it looks like an incorrect statement in two different ways.

Firstly, including an extra 3% of people are not the same as catering to only 3% of people. Framing it like it’s exlusionary instead of inclusionary seems disingenous or wholly ignorant.

Secondly, 3% of people can be millions and millions. When you know statistics, better context is needed for statements like that to mean anything.

          5. “I’ve yet to see a singular example of someone wanting better representation being a “racket””

Maybe you are extremely naive, or you are being disingenuous, so i’ll bet on the latter. NGO’s invested in the diversity racket gain millions promoting this stuff.

“Firstly, including an extra 3% of people are not the same as catering to only 3% of people. ”

Framing it like it’s just that seems disingenous or wholly ignorant.

          6. “”Firstly, including an extra 3% of people are not the same as catering to only 3% of people. ”

Framing it like it’s just that seems disingenous or wholly ignorant.”

Lol. No. Framing it the opposite way does, because you purposefully do not include all relevant information AND assume bad intent.

If you genuinely believe that including an extra 3% is the same as only catering to those 3% you’re sense of rationality or logic is non-existant.

You start to sound like a troll on this subject.

          7. You are making a strawman AND projecting at the same time. I get it, you buy the whole diversity propaganda and find it morally righteous and anyone who might disagree is a troll. Moral dogmas work that way.

          8. You’re free to explain how that statement was a strawman. I am interested in seeing how you are bending logic to make that fit.

          9. “If you genuinely believe that including an extra 3% is the same as only catering to those 3% you’re sense of rationality or logic is non-existant.”

I didn’t make this argument, i tried to articulate why a poster above might think that way and you are saying that his post is my argument.

          10. I didn’t claim, nor do I care if you specifically made that argument.

The “if” should indicate to you that I was using either the general “you” or that the statement only applied to you if you matched the criteria.

Please learn what claims like strawman means before embarassing yourself by making logical fallacies like you just did.

If you can’t show an actual example of a strawman, I’m goung to assume that you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

          11. Ok, so you allegedly made an strawman IF you believe i made that argument, or something like that. I can see that this discussion won’t go nowhere.

          12. Wow, that was a failed attempt at deflecting, and a cute, but failed attempt at copying me.

“or something like that” was almost true, and thanks for showing me clearly that you are either 100% trolling, or just not capable of grasping what you’re trying to talk about.

This conversation is is over. Have a good one.

          13. Implying you actually tried to have a conversation… Plenty of replies made by me that you didn’t bother adressing, and of course clinging to semantics, clinging to another poster poor argumentation so you can try to look good(both of you are wrong but i disgress), and in the end, accuse others of being trolls, F*ck off.

          14. Sure. Just because i didn’t respond to everything you wrote, in detail, that somehow invalidates the fact that I called out your bullshit.

IThe next time you want to give the imoressuin you’re not a troll, do yourself a favour and don’t assume other people’s position in order to argue against it. THAT’s a strawman, and you just gave yourself a wonderful example.
            Take care.

          15. More projection from Mary Sue Moe. Just stick to argue about 3% representation or whatever, at least you can confuse things since that is your only tactic.

          16. More strawmanning, but at least you took my council about spreading confusion and nonsense, like a proper troll, congrats a$$hole.

          17. Well bloodlines 2 will have gender pronouns and will be more progressive, they wont “punch down”. Which is hilarious because if you are a immortal vampire that feeds on the peasants you can only punch down. Also if you look at the tabletop game which is published by paradox the same company who makes the game, well it has a g3y practicing musslim who “fights for the working class and the poor” and he is mixed race. You couldnt be more sjw even if you tried. Also the sidequest story writer is a butch l3sbian feminst who tried to get gta v banned from australi retail shops for “violence against women” Not to mention the battletch game that there werent any white characters, it went against the lore with musslim characters and had gender pronouns…in a game about mechs…and they kicked out the creator and they were bought by paradox.

If ask me its not us who are gatekeeping its them, appealing to the smallest minority of nutjobs while at the same time wanting to make games easy enough to appeal to the lowest common denominator of non gamers.

God forbid you make a rpg that the lore isnt destroyed by modern millennial bs. God forbid you dont appeal to everyone by making a casual trash.

          18. “Well bloodlines 2 will have gender pronouns and will be more progressive, they wont “punch down”. Which is hilarious because if you are a immortal vampire that feeds on the peasants you can only punch down”.

It’s not hilarious. It’s realizing that the framework of how a game approaches gender is not the same as how characters in the game does.

If you can’t separate the game world from the options menu, then you have a problem.

An RPG game giving you MORE options in character creation is a good thing. If you want to control what game creators do, and want games to have less options and less content because more customization is “too casual”, i suggest you stick to movies or EA games.

          19. “An RPG game giving you MORE options in character creation is a good thing.”

Lot’s of options an RPG gives the player amounts to nothing more than useless fluff. And that includes gender. Now if you give the player specific stat penalties/bonuses for choosing a specific gender/race/height/etc, then you got my attention (why don’t they do that anymore i leave for you to think about).

” If you want to control what game creators do, and want games to have less options and less content because more customization is “too casual”, i suggest you stick to movies or EA games.”

It’s the other way around, developers want to constrain their games while giving the illusion of choice. It’s a proven business decision.

“It’s not hilarious. It’s realizing that the framework of how a game approaches gender is not the same as how characters in the game does.

If you can’t separate the game world from the options menu, then you have a problem.”

These 2 paragraphs don’t make much sense, and i can’t tell what are you trying to say.

          20. “Lot’s of options an RPG gives the player amounts to nothing more than useless fluff. And that includes gender. Now if you give the player specific stat penalties/bonuses for choosing a specific gender/race/height/etc, then you got my attention (why don’t they do that anymore i leave for you to think about).”

Not everything should give bonuses. Unless you want your gameworld to be racist.

Sure, you could give different stats based on gender. Or eye color. Or skin color. But most RPGs present your choices in-game as the important choices that people react to, and less like a racism-simulator.
            I appreciate that.

Here, it looks like a few people are being triggered that player groups are included that aren’t specifically them. That’s a kind of backwards bigoted thinking that I hope one day will die out.

          21. I guess you showed your true bullshit colors with this response, so don’t accuse others of trying to be casuals or trying to constraint choices. The real world is complex with lots of struggle, but you want your RPG to be a cookie cutter utopia, or self moralizing black and white when it comes to “racism” or “sexism”.

          22. One vampire in Bloodlines 1 compares humans to cattle (goyim). So jews=vampires. Maybe the hypocrite masquarade fits well with the millenial vampires in Bloodlines 2, let’s wait and see.

          23. I am saying that the RPG writers/quest designers will be constrained to write LGBT characters in a certain light(that light being mary sue/morally righteous) to avoid backlash. I remember an evil gay mage character in Witcher 2 that, depending of the choices made up to that point, could end up dying by the hand of Roche (he would cut his genitals off). Could the devs pull that off in 2019 and not end up groveling and apologizing? If they can do that, more power to them(they probably can’t, as recent trends show).

    2. MK11 suddenly went fully insane WOKE, no one had any leads that it might happen, it happened.
Not only its Burka Kombat but Jax ending actually send him back in time to fight Slavery because he “aint have the time to wait until everyone becomes WOKE” and thats actually quote.
CDPR can go woke and surprise us all, in a way they ALREADY did, in the 2018 trailer in a world filled with enhanced humans, half naked dresses, the streets had tons of Hijab wearing females.
Also the non white cast, the main character was shown as Female.

      1. Ill repost this

Well, Louis Le vau says he has inside information that there is a woman in the studio who is working on marketing that is a sjw. So there is atleast one. Also rockstar has some too, somoene who left the studio told him that they are in fact sjws trying to take it over.

        1. If its true i wont buy the game.

But like with MK, the lemmings going to whine that everything that happens is Normal and NOT WORTH the time to complain. DEFEATIST and LOSER attitudes of the millennials and their spawn..

      2. GOG already passively agressively censors games because they don’t like the author politics (but off course they won’t say it).

          1. Grimoire: Heralds of the winged exemplar. RPG banned from GOG for being “too niche”. In reality, the creator is a conspiracy theorist so that’s the real reason.

    3. Well, Louis Le vau says he has inside information that there is a woman in the studio who is working on marketing that is a sjw. So there is atleast one. Also rockstar has some too, somoene who left the studio told him that they are in fact sjws trying to take it over.

  9. Why does Disqus think it’s a good idea to hide so many replies? Just to read through the comments on this article I have to click on “Show More Replies” in 8 places. It’s not a big deal but what is the point?

Another thing is the New Comment Below or Above notice. Usually you can see the blue text for show new comment. That happened to me a while ago and I scrolled up but no blue text and then it said new comment below. I scrolled down but still no blue text. Clicked on the notice :New Comment Above and it turned out to be my own comment made a few minutes before.

Why would Disqus think it’s necessary to tell me about my own comment that I just made?

    1. youtube has been doing this for over a decade. The goal is to save bandwith by making everything simpler, this is why disqus hides replies, so it doesnt have to load them all at once.

  10. Ahh, it’s different now as it was back then, so when the downgrade comes (and it likely will), they’ve got an easy cover to aim for, for when fans/press get onto them about the downgrades.

  11. Dont be surprised if CDPR goes woke.
MK11 suddenly went fully insanely WOKE, everybody was in shock when it sudednly went full on Burqa Kombat, Uglified the females and changed racial profiles or made them more visible.
    Not
only its Burqa Kombat but Jax ending actually send him back in time to
fight Slavery because he “aint have the time to wait until everyone
becomes WOKE” and thats actually quote.
And of course the Typical SJW hypocrisy that every single man was bare chested, half naked while every “female” was in top down covered.
In a way they CDPR ALREADY went woke, in the 2018 trailer in a world
filled with enhanced humans, half naked dresses, the streets had tons of
    Hijab wearing females.
Also IT WAS THEIR CHOICE to show the game to the world with main hero as Female not male and her partner wasn’t even white!

    1. agree with everything you say about MK going full woke, I was shocked when I found out the first time. but I ll give the benefit of the doubt for Cyberpunk until the release of the game. still, I am happy they went with the female protagonist of the story in the gameplay video they showed, we got that sexy thong scene in her bed.

    1. they will. they did the same thing with Witcher 3. IMHO, it is a big mistake they are making this for the past generation of consoles, the game will get released by the time the new consoles arrive, they should have made a deal with Sony and MS to use their game as a system seller for their new hardware.

      1. I will definitely be buying a Sony PlayStation 5. The details being released about it sound amazing. Plus…. By the time it comes out that open world Avatar game will be released.

        1. wait, what, they are making an open world Avatar game? wow didnt known about that.
yeah, if the rumors that it will support backward compatibility for ALL the previous PS consoles, then it is a must buy for me as well.

          1. I’m getting quite hyped for Terminator : Dark Fate. More and more its sounding very promising..

          2. Just based on the footage descriptions that came out of cinema con. Peoples reactions and descriptions sound really good

          3. not yet, but I am reading it is not as good as the first season. and they are already working on the third season. something tells me they are gonna milk it to its death..

          4. I wouldn’t say that. It’s probably not as good … but then the first season was excellent. This is close enough. Its still pretty damn good. And the ending is really good imho.

          5. oh, really? nice. so the set visit was not accidental. he ll probably play a Navi warrior.

          6. Maybe. Or something else entirely. I’m still convinced there will be other Alien species in this universe.

          7. hopefully he does a Navi warrior or something. Dont want him as a human in the movie.

          8. He should voice a talking tree! Oh…wait. 😉

          9. Just my guess….. But I am thinking he will be playing something neither human nor Na’vi

          10. Have you seen the descriptions of the new Terminator footage by people that attended cinema con?

          11. I think so too. I’m starting to actually believe we may just get a truly good new Terminator movie

          12. Of course…with Cameron’s participation, it was inevitable. I don’t think he’d agree to put his name on it if it wasn’t something worthy. He knows the expectations are high, and a bad Terminator sequel with which he was involved could taint his legacy.

Now, whether it can scale the heights of the first two movies remains to be seen. I’m not hoping for that much. It can only lead to disappointment. Those are legendary films and we’ve lived with them for decades. But a really good sequel that advances the mythology and takes it to new places while remaining true to the spirit of the older movies? Absolutely, they can deliver that.

          13. Agreed. Expecting a movie as good as the first two is both unrealistic and setting our expectations too high….. and thus setting us up for disappointment. What I want is twofold….1) a good movie. Something just better than the last three sh*t fests….. and 2) a new movie….NOT a lazy remake ala TFA. Make a new Terminator movie!

      2. It’s probably going to be a cross-gen title, if that’s the case I see no reason to downgrade the game, certainly no reason for PC. We’ll see, I am still holding out hope they learned a valuable lesson with TW3, while it didn’t effect my enjoyment with the game, showing early gameplay and then not being able to deliver what was shown pissed a lot of people off, espec. PC gamers.

    2. they will. they did the same thing with Witcher 3. IMHO, it is a big mistake they are making this for the past generation of consoles, the game will get released by the time the new consoles arrive, they should have made a deal with Sony and MS to use their game as a system seller for their new hardware.
