Back in 2017, we informed you about a rumour for a PC release of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. And… well… here is another rumour suggesting that this new Crash Bandicoot title will be coming to the PC platform in 2018.
According to Max Arguile, licensing manager of GB Eye, a licensed merchandising company in Europe, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be released on the PC later this year.
“The new game was a huge success at retail with no marketing spend. Next year it will be going broader (Switch and PC) and there will be another game in 2019.”
There is nothing more to add at this point as Activision has not revealed any additional details. In case you weren’t aware of, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a platform compilation developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. This is a collection of remasters of the first three titles in the Crash Bandicoot series that came exclusively on PS4.
As always, take everything you’ve read with a grain of salt. Our guess is that the Switch and PC versions of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be announced in the next few months, so stay tuned for more!

On one hand it looks like it will really happen. On other hand it blows my mind that Sony would not pay for exclusivity.
I mean if this would be possible then Demons Souls Remaster on PC would be possible as well. If non-Sony studio would done it like in case of Dark Souls Remastered or this Crash trilogy.
If Sony would not care of Crash being multiplatform then why should they care about Demons Souls? Crash was goddamn Sony icon!
I see. Well while now all this makes sense. It’s still seems insane to me that Sony just sold that IP.
So really this could happen to any game still. Bandai Namco could just buy the Demons Souls IP. If Sony don’t care.
“t’s still seems insane to me that Sony just sold that IP.”
It was never theirs, the series stoped being relevant on early ps2 days. Only those 3 games are relevant. Why would sony buy the ip for 3 games on psx?
Ye I was reading more up on it and now it makes perfect sense. I never knew it was not their IP in first place.
Yep, the series hasn’t been exclusive to PlayStation since the year 2000.
Another one exclusive bit the dust of Failstation 4.
As much as I love pc gaming, its hard to call the playstation a failure. While yes, exclusives are complete garbage imo playstation has done pretty well this console war.
Nah, xbox have better exclusives.
lol all 2 of them?
Forza Horizon 3 is one of this games.
Thats not an exclusive.
All those many great games for the super-popular Kinect, yes? ?
You wot mate?
well, looking how xbox and switch are trash, ps4 doesnt have to put any effort into it. I think its fair to say that this gen has bey far the weakest consoles with the least games.
Sorry in what way are they trash? Because a known troll and moron says so, they’re trash?
Sony has best line-up by far. Consoles absolutely dominating market in majority of countries. You are marginals and you know about that. Pc will always stay technikal platform in first place. Consoles are for games. And you know that most hated group of people in the world are pc gamers like you. Uncharted 4 and Horizon-garbage? Yoiu really deserve some blood on your face little pig.
It’s was time ex.
They paid “extra” money to Acti$hit for that.
Ex-wars are old kids…
Pro tip: Xbox and Windos it’s one platform familly.
It was never advertised as a PS4 exclusive so take your attitude elsewhere
60 fps will be nice for fans, but the little I’ve played of this series has been utter garbage.
144hz needit 60fps is getting old.
There’s no good reason these shouldn’t run at 144Hz, but I’m sure the devs will find one.
Activision? So it won’t be on steam?
GOOD

It wasn’t Activision fault their games lost the license, or was it?
Last time I looked Activision publishes games on Steam.
I think most of the PC players would like another Naughty Dog series. At least finally gamers would be able to play it properly and without 30 fps crap.
While the franchise may have originated from Naughty Dog it hasn’t been so for many years now. The last series’ game by them was released back in 1999.
I was talking about Uncharted, you?
I was referencing you having stated “another Naughty Dog series” which implied your belief that Crash Bandicoot is ‘a Naughty Dog series’.
Yeah, well they started it and made at least 3 games. But you are right about that.
No worries. For the time being at least we have Sony’s PlayStation Now (overpriced) service on PC whereby the first three Uncharted games and The Last Of Us are all available. Plus RPCS3 is making great progress.
As much as I love pc gaming, its hard to call the playstation a failure. While yes, exclusives are complete garbage imo playstation has done pretty well this console war.
Activision? So it won’t be on steam?
Activision publishes games on Steam so why are you asking this?
Based on Destiny 2 being Actiblizzion launcher exclusive, that probably will not be the case moving forward.
Destiny 2 was a exception. CoD WWII came out after Destiny 2 and it is on Steam so no, it won’t be the case moving foward
If it does come to PC then fans of the series should finally be able to experience the games at a proper frame-rate rather than the pitiful 30fps they’re forced to endure courtesy of Sony’s weak console hardware and Naughty Dog’s questionable priorities.
I dont think iv ever played a more frustrating platform game than Crash Bandicoot on PS1. Never saw the appeal.
Git gud, scrub.
Normally I would thrive on a challenging game, I grew up in the 80s and pretty much all games were very challenging. Crash Bandicoot was such a bad game though that I really couldn’t be arsed to “git gud” at it.
You were never gud scrub, as a 8 year old I beat the first Crash Bandicoot on PS1 with 50+ lives.
You were that bored?
It was great for the time, but the sequels definitely improved on it a lot. The remake is pretty fun.
Huge!
Huge!
Ok I guess. Pretty mediocre games they are though.
“Thanks Resetera”
neogaf 2.0
They learned nothing, they keep doing the same things over and over again.
Other than that, activision owns the rights..sooo it will propably happen at some poin.
It’s actually “what killed NeoGAF 2.0”
Resetera is the worst elements of NeoGAF (especially the moderators) creating their separate politicized circlejerk after excommunicating Evilore, not that he didn’t deserve it, but his mod team was even worse than him. The clique is trying to prop up the place by “leaking” info to the forums.
Right now they’re busy witch hunting the Subnautica devs because someone from the team dared to deviate from their approved orthodoxy on twitter.
Can we just be honest for a moment. Nostalgia aside; those games were just not that good.
Damned right.
