And here is another Xbox One exclusive game that finds its way to our platform. Microsoft and Reagent Games announced today that Crackdown 3 will be coming to the PC in 2017. Yeap, it appears that Microsoft stayed to true to its word, and that all of its future exclusive games are coming simultaneously on both Xbox One and PC.
As Dave Jones, Creative Director at Reagent Games, said:
“Today, we are excited to confirm that Crackdown 3 will be available for both Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs, and will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title so you can buy one and play across either device.”
Crackdown 3 is described as a game built for the future with a multiplayer experience that will redefine what it feels like to play games.
“Our top priority is to give gamers an experience they have never seen before at a scale never thought possible, and sticking to our original timeline would have compromised that goal.”

Me. They announced a bunch of cross-play titles, congrats, good for them.

I stand by that myself, I;d rather not plonk down a big chunk of cash for just 1-2 games at lower quality and paying for online.

Come on, saw this a mile away. Microsoft are not the old Microsoft where they made games for PC, this is about XBox and nothing more because XB1 is flopping. If XB1 was destroying PS4 then I’m pretty sure we would get chick bones of games like with the XBox 360.

Give it some time….. I just realized, this level of investing can’t be sustained for long, not without real returns, not just minor numbers from the Windows 10 Store.

Somehow I doubt their self-proclaimed “The Most Powerful Console Ever” is going to hold that title for very long.
Neo and Scorpio are already out of date, RX 480 outdated them, you could say 1070 did as well but it’s hardly a value GPU.
Yeah, but like always, everything will depend on 3 major factors; launch date & window (who releases first, & time between the two releases – X360 launched a whole year ahead of the PS3, gave it a hell of an edge), hardware & software launch line-ups (to a lesser extent, as many don’t care which is strong, just which has better games, but others do, so yeah) & of course, pricing. The XBONE priced itself $100 higher than the PS4, basically shooting itself in the foot from the get-go.
The Xbox “Scorpio” not only has to beat the PS4 Neo, but it also has to be stronger (numbers will count this time, I think), have a better line-up (empty out them pockets, Micro$oft), & better priced. They can’t afford to put it at $50 more than the PS4 Neo, even.
Historically, the PlayStation has been stronger in both the last two launches, Microsoft’s line-up is still flimsy compared to Sony’s endless array of available Remasters, & most importantly, they’re greedy pr*cks who’re most definitely going to try & do something monumentally stupid, because Microsoft, which will in turn damage them further.
lol 1070 is the best bang for the buck once founders editions are gone and other manufacturers put there models out. leaked benchs show 480 needs serious OC to match 1070 stock. 1070 needs small OC to match 1080 stock.
It still needs to bite the dust, put em on Steam and make them w7/8/10 compatible.

WStore is a awful store, UWP it’s way too restrictive and even with being adept of the MS OS (which I kinda have to, since nobody cares to support anything more) I still despise they way MS does things.
This, I’ve learned that if I can’t buy the game and play it the way I want to then I simply move onto something else and give my money to those who don’t tell me to jump through their hoops, all while giving me games I want and having mod support.

The issues I have with the windows store are:
1) There are no alternatives to buy the games, with steam I can buy from any digital store and hunt for deals… Windows store does not allow me to do this.
2) The store is full of mobile crap, and looks fugly.
Also full mod support, none of their games allow any and all sorts of tampering.
Same, I’d actually care if they sold on Steam and the Windows store but also sold to Windows 7-8 users, that was we all have choices.
I really don’t care about any of those games, i care about forza h3 a little but not going to pay even a penny for it unless it works on win7.
P.S. FFS – Windows 10 =/= PC. It’s confusing.
Windows 10 is future of “Windows PC” – single OS, no multiple versions, all games with cross buy between Xbox and PC. Buy once, play on PC or Xbox with shared save. W10 FTW. And its free upgrade.
