GSC GameWorld has announced the release of its new RTS title, Cossacks 3. In order to celebrate this announcement, GSC GameWorld has also released the game’s launch trailer that can be viewed below.
Cossacks 3 features twelve nations, 70 different unit types, 100 research opportunities, and over 140 different historical buildings.
Cossacks 3 is described as a rare combination of war, economy, army developing, building and upgrading that couldn’t be found in any game for the last 15 years. The game supports randomly generated maps, offers five historic single player-campaigns and a multiplayer-mode in which up to eight players can fight each other on one map.
In Cossacks 3, players can can build an armada and attack their enemies at sea, forge alliances with or against others as well as challenge the computer.
Enjoy!

Looks really good, does A.I. still cheats ?
Finally.
Sweet jesus, how long I’ve been waiting for an AoE style RTS to come out that isn’t like Civ or other 4x games.
????????????????
Looks brilliant.
Tried it out and I’m having problems with resolution and running the game in full screen. Can’t get it to run at native 4K whatever I try. Anyone managed to run this at higher resolutions, anyone with similar problems?
the same problem
try this
1. Right-click on “Cossacks 3” in Steam -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files.
You are now in the game folder.
2. Right-click on ‘cossacks’ -> Properties -> Compatibility -> check “Disable display scaling on high DPI settings”.
Try to launch the game and play.
Thanks a lot. It works now. Seems like the developers didn’t test much.
gawd, it tears a lot, need to buy freesync/gsync monitor ASAP
Funny thing is the game looks nowhere near as good as that screenshot or the trailer.
