Landfall released a new co-op climbing game, called Peak, on PC on June 16th. And in just nine days, the game has managed to sell over two million copies.
Peak has managed to capture the attention of PC gamers from the moment it came out. Right now, it has Very Positive Reviews on Steam, and it’s priced at only 7,49€. And, honestly, I believe its low price is one of the reasons it has managed to sell so well.
Peak is a co-op climbing game where the slightest mistake can spell your doom. You can play it solo or with a group of friends. If you play in co-op, you will be able to help each other up ledges, or place ropes and climbing spikes to make the way easier for those who come after.
The game right now has 4 biomes, each with their own life-threatening obstacles. As they climb, players will discover a variety of helpful survival items. For instance, you can find energy drinks, climbing spikes, and the mysterious Anti-Rope.
Right now, the devs are trying to fix some problems with the game. They’re working on a small update to stop players from getting disconnected. They also said they plan to make the game run smoother and faster. Since Aggro Crab is a small team, though, it may take a while until we get this patch.
Peak is powered by Unity Engine and appears to have relatively low PC requirements. PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5 that is clocked at 2.5 GHz with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. The devs recommend using an Intel Core i5 that is clocked at 3.0 GHz or an AMD Ryzen 5 CPU with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or an AMD Radeon RX 7600XT.
Peak became a surprise indie hit. People started talking about how fun it is, and that helped it get popular. It also helped that the game is cheap and got a lot of attention on YouTube and Twitch. Big credit to Landfall for making it a hit so quickly.
Below, you can find the latest trailer for Peak. This will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it. So, be sure to watch it.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

"gaming" at it's PEAK. Another reason for dotards to buy a 5090.
I'm pretty sure this thing run on a gt 1030… right?
I need to learn how to make a video game….I want stardew valley type money.
First you need to have good connection to gaming slop merchants like youtubers, streamers, etc.
can’t hurt.
If you want stardew valley money it is essential, not optional.
Streamer slop, even the trailer advertise it as so, and the only way for Johnny to make a story about this shovelware is the fact it managed to con 2 million people so far.
God I miss the good old days, when gaming only attracted actual passionate gamers who really loved games.
It was almost an obscure hobby, WHICH WAS GREAT.
Nowadays, I feel like most sales are made thanks to streamers, who only look for games that will make them scream as loud as possible in countless similar videos, and which will please 5~10 year old degenerate GenA freaks.
They couldn't care less about stories, gameplay, or anything that actually make games good.
Among other things, they only look for shock value, horror games with cheap jumpscares, and in general what we could call "MEME GAMES".
This is exactly what we're dealing with here.
As of 2025, we have now reached the absolute bottom of gaming, it can't get worse than this. (right?)
You're absolutely right, dude!
Meme game is correct, even the name of the game can be attributed to some tarded meme speak.
Every day, we stray further from gaming. 😢
To be fair and balance what I said about gaming being dead, I have to say that I just found out a recent (2024) incredible 2D RPG called "Drova – Forsaken Kin", and John, I'm mad at you for never writing any article about this!😤
It literally plays like a Gothic/Risen, but in 2D.
A dream for Piranha Bytes fans like me.
I suggest everybody who wants a good old-fashioned RPG to give it a try!
(I played only a few hours, so take my advice with a pinch of salt. But so far, it's great.)

John is a click hunter "Search Engine Optimizer", the only way for him to cover indie games is how much popular the game is, or if indie devs pay him for coverage.
So g4y…a game for all the weakling sheep, qu33rs and f4gs of today!
